  1. Mightn't look too bad in black if he also had a CF bonnet. Wouldn't do it myself though.
  2. I have a tonneau cover and need a luggage net badly. Had a bottle of champagne in the car today. Only thing I could do was wrapped in bubble wrap and position it as best I could between the passenger seat and door. Will be getting a horizontal net now.
  3. Didn't Ming discover he had a heated screen?

  5. I think Jag have done very well on the design of this one. It's about time too.

  8. Wow, thankfully they don't really salt the roads here. They use gravel.
  9. Aren't the wheels RSGT as opposed to GTR. Had the same ones on my Celica except in silver and thank god they never looked like that. What happened to them? Discs could do with replacing. I seem to remember a thread about them crumbling in the celica club. I miss my Celica. Sort of. Sometimes. Did seven (Nathan) ever supercharge his Celica?

As most probably know myself, Sarnie and Sinbad are planning a trip to Geneva to see the GTR as well as a few other cars. This evening Nissan sent out an invitation by e-mail to anyone that registered on the GTR site. Most of us probably did. The invite gets you free into the show and also into a VIP GTR lounge to get up close and personal with the car. I need a second invite. A mate is join us on the trip and is an Alpha nut so never registered on the GTR site. Anyone not going to Geneva want to do me a favour and forward the mail to me? It should have a unique code in it. Cheers.
  15. I did that with my Celica. Needed a new TRD front bumper to replace damaged one. Discontinued by Toyota and dealer parts guys couldn't be assed looking beyond their computer catalogue but I was able to source one from a US dealer. Called them up. Said it was on the shelf right now. Cost a fortune but insurance was covering the lot. Did the same for the TRD fogs. Toyota couldn’t say how long I’d have to wait and it had already been a month. I got them from a supplier in Japan. Paid for it myself and the body shop manager covered it by repairing keyed damage to one of the courtesy cars I was given. Brand new Avensis and some scum keyed one side. I think I was able to do this because the body shop manager was a top bloke. I had various courtesy cars for between 2 and 3 months with my car indoors at all times in the body shop taking up a bay. This meant the garage lost a fair bit of income. The owner also wanted him to add another 5% or so mark-up on all parts. He’s an honest person. Hard to believe one exists in the dealer network. Anyway he refused. When the car was ready the manager was told either resign or you’re out.
  16. Same here. I've got 5GB's of memory for mine but I'm starting to think it wont be enough.
  17. I cant wait to get to Geneva to see all the new cars. Even if it's gas powered. Sports car manufacturers that'll be there. http://www.salonauto.ch/en/exposants/de ... dIndex=863 It's some list.
