I've got a pair of these, but never really used them,I have them in the boot just in case, how good are they in the conditions above, do you have total control? .

Did it work? I had it read by a garage when it was in the post, so didn't have chance to try it, but I did plug it in when it arrived, and it was recognized by the car, so there should no problem if or when the lamp appears again. I also plugged it into the works vehicle, and even it told me the VIN number

looking @ your signature, I detect from that you have some connection with Canada,i suppose that -4% is approaching a heat wave over there , but 2 winters back it did get down to -18% in my neck of the woods, and I did'nt have any problems with the doors&locks what so ever, so can't understand why I'm having problems now?

thanks for the replies, I've squirted some WD40 into the key hole, and it's gonna be about -4% here tonight, so I hope that does the trick, I'll know tomorrow morning.

Hi Guys. These last few mornings, I've had the problem of the drivers side lock playing up, it opens OK using the fob, but when I get in and shut the door it won't stay shut, and the catch seems to be frozen, I've discovered by using the button on the inside door it eventually locks, but not before the lock goes mad by trying to lock&unlock, and then I find I can't get out!, so I have to clamber over the gear stick and get out of the passenger side, this is so annoying is there a remedy to this?.
