    I went out to the car this morning and had to press the unlock button on the key a couple of times before it would operate. I've tried the spare key and its exactly the same so I don't think its the battery - any suggestions.

    I recon 40K is a good life span for suspension components and would be thinking of changing them if it were my car. I've just renewed the shocks and springs on my Evo and that has covered 46K.

    Battery has had it by the sound of things. Should hold around 12v when cranking.

    The charging rate sounds ok. Check your connections and main earth lead and also take a reading when you're cranking the engine.

    Ask them to submit a Goodwill Claim, Martin. I had a Golf GTi a few years back and got a Hall sensor replaced when the car was about 4 months out of warranty on this basis.

    It's great to hear that you've recovered it but with the damage that's been done you sometimes wonder if it would have been better to have never seen it again. Hope you get everything back to the way it was.

    Yep give it plenty of time to settle and you'll get an accurate reading. As a guide, the min to max level is about a litre.

    Yeah I agree with Chris. If you are sure nothing was left on then get the battery checked.

    Agreed Seen a few of them now & much prefer the 350 I thought it was just me - obviously not. I'm quite dissapointed actually because I would have been quite happy to upgrade my 350 to a new 370 had it represented an all round improvement. Imo though the only benefir I can see is a bit more power and that's not enough reason for me to buy one. Going to have to be a porka I recon
