  1. Very sorry to hear this Steve. Hopefully something will come along job-wise before you make a sale.
  2. Good to hear from you, stranger. Looks like you had a fantastic trip and the Merc would be a great car to do it in.
  3. So you've got one at last!! Lovely looking car, Jay.
  4. +1 - and thats what I've heard too. it has been confirmed now, he is coming back Then we really will see if the car is any good or not.
  5. Don't give 'em ideas My thoughts exactly
  6. Lovely example. I used to sell these for a living along time ago.
  7. Some blasts from the past on there.......Eddmac...........Afreemason.............. Yes there are indeed. I wonder what they're driving now?
  8. Click on the members tab top right of screen.
  9. I agree with all Rob has said, but if I'm on it I take to the redline in every gear (track conditions permitting of course)
  10. Don't know about the bang but the momentary loss in power could have been the TCS cutting in. What does it drive like now? Any odd noises?
  11. No but to have both you have to pay more money. To get to this price point, something has to give, build quality or performance. Nissan are doing a good job of getting the best of both worlds, but they wont ever get there at this price point. If you want both, get a Cayman That is my #2 choice when I change next
  12. Good write up Dave and seems to reflect the views of quite a few people. I'm waiting for my local dealer to get theirs for me to try, but the jury is very much out at the moment.
  13. It may be the wear indicators if you have oem pads - (little metal clips that rub against the disc when the pads get low).
  14. Get your tyres on-line from someone such as Blackcircles or Camskill and have them fitted locally, and any good, local garage will be able to do your brakes for much less than the dealer.
  15. Hi and to the forum. Your oil pressure sounds fine. I'm guessing though that the engine has not warmed up when you are getting pressure around 120.
  16. It's a totally different car to an Evo, certainly not as quick and doesn't ultimately give you the buzz that the Evo does. What is does do though is put a smile on your face all the time unlike the Evo that requires you to be giving it the beans to enjoy it.
  17. Anyone would be better than Mosley But Vatman would be ideal imo.
  18. What's more it's a rev-up engine and they are known to use oil in some cases.
  19. They look superb Ian. Just right in terms of colour too.
  20. Lucky escape. It could have been a diesel spill! Sounds as if you need to get the tracking checked now.
  21. So what's replacing them Ian?
