  1. Maybe an obvious suggestion but check your pressures, they need to be 35 psi.
  2. Oh, right. In that case I would have gone straight back there and demanded they rectify it.
  3. They should change the brake fluid on a P2 anyway. If you want to do it yourself though, AP Dot 5 is good stuff.
  4. I've been doing sprints for about 11 years now. The first 10 were in single seaters and this year I changed to production car class and am running an Evo 6. If you were to enter the Zed you would be in the same class as me and tbh you wouldn't have a look in. My car is circa 400 bhp and weighs under 1300 kgs. When you compare that to the Zed you will see what I mean.
  5. Second that. Change the cam cover gasket/oil seals and it should be fine.
  6. They are also getting very good feedback on the MLR http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=253318 http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=268574
  7. I can't believe that to upgrade only a GTR would tempt you???????????????? Plenty more out there which are much more drivable than the electronic/remote control GTR And more reliable too. I've just heard of a third gearbox failure that Nissan won't cover under warranty
  8. I use mine for day-to-day driving and have put Castrol Magnatec 5W 30 semi in it from day one.
  9. I recenty test drove a 997 C2S and a Cayman S. Of the two I shall probably go for the Cayman as apart from it costing significantly less, it's a much better handling car and just feels more modern throughout. I'm looking at something around 2-3 years old and with a higher spec as possible. I don't plan on doing anything until the New Year, so shall be around until at leat then.
  10. Jay (Zedrush) is quite handy when it comes to graphic design.
  11. Well caught Alex. Glad you're ok. I have to say though that there doesn't appear to be an awful lot of meat on those Kinetix wishbones.
  12. Thanks for putting up with us Digs. You'll be missed.
  13. +1 to all of the above Although I've got about 10 baseball caps & a smillar amount of beanies (Its an addiction i collect shoes, coats & t-shirts aswell ) At least you don't collect handbags like Louis
  14. As already said it's a non-return valve. Halfrauds do them for a couple of quid or leave it out all together.
  15. I have to confess to looking around myself. My Zed was 3 years old last month and I usually change at between 2 - 3 years. The current economic climate is making me hesistate somewhat, but I have to own up to having a test drive in a 997 C2S and a Cayman S this morning. All I can say is WOW
  16. Try swopping your front wheels over and see in the noise stays the same or transfers to the other side. That will then eliminate that wheel and tyre.
  17. Try repeating the procedure with the car jacked up and the wheel off the ground.
  18. Cooking Fat - sorry couldn't resist
  19. Sounds as if it could be a wheel bearing.
