  1. Anyone had it fitted Tein Suspension fitted, if so how good is it, and did yo get the optional EDFC and Tein 'High Tech' (spring kit)? Cheers
  2. OK, fitted one of Spill's (cheers Spill)grounding Kit today, great response, smoother and improve throttle response, fairly easy to install (50 mins). Good call. JWT Pop Charger is next.

    Exhaust

Is the Nismo exhaust a true dual exhaust?
  4. How about JWT Pop Chargers?
  5. Bugger, it's slim fast for me then
  6. So how come 350Z's weigh so much??
  7. My reason for asking is that if 1 litre of water weighs 2kgs then 65 litres of fuel weighs 130 kgs and a ten litre of wind screen wash weighs 20kgs. Deducting this weight off of a standard Z drop's the 0-60 to 5.41 as per, www.letstorquebhp.com. I know that of course you need fuel to go, but surley loosing weight is a possible alternative
  8. Not me then, so I wonder who I was hooning around with this morning, it was an 04 GM
  9. Chaps a general question When calculating a vehicles 0-60, do manufactorers do it with a full tank of fuel and all other liquids into account?
  10. Anyone ever thought of having a group meet at Le Mans, I know the other forum had kind of one this year, its a great few days and a brillant drive, race down there, we got 20 people together this year
  11. YOU'LL GET A BETTER RESPONSE FROM A CRACK DEALER
  12. Yup I think I was the GM you spotted came off at Junction 5
  13. I'm looking at getting most of my stuff done by TDI as the general rue of thumb from the forum is that they are pretty good chaps who know their biscuits
  14. This is the link to the supposid JWT PC 6.5 hp gain http://www.nissanperformancemag.com/june03/350pop/
  15. Cheers chaps, i'll have a think ans also check out the other sitesposts
  16. Oh sorry for forgetting thanks for the great info chaps
  17. I was thinking, get the exhaust first, as I have done the Plenium and HF Cats, the exhaust would sort the flow out, doing my grounding tomorrow. So options are HKS / Miltek / DC HKS - Pricey and perhaps tooloud for everyday and motorway use Milltek - as per Lomoto, perhaps too quiet DC - Rated highly, although dealer seems to be in cheshire Then do Manifolds make dependant on Exhaust Then do JWT Pop charger, (although I am still not sure if Air Intakes are just a con) Then do the ECU once this is all in place. What do you reckon all in 35 HP?
  18. What about having black and silver plates, I saw an S2000 with them recently and it looked good, really dependant on the colour of car though
  19. In theory, if i changed my ECU, to an FCON. Would the car retain any potential power gains
  20. Brillant, thanks Spill, thats an epic response. Ill do some digging and see where I end up. Do you have any grounding kits left?
  21. Cheers Spill Your grounding kits, would I notice the difference and for someone who is totally useless at mechanics, how hard are they to install? So I would get no perfromance gains at all. How come the 350Z can't be modded effectivley through N/A
  22. Ok, so for the timebeing, i can't afford to go down the F/I route. So I was thinking with the current pot that is burning a whole in my pocket I would do the following (bearing in mind HF cats a kinetix Plenium all ready fitted) HKS Tip Hyper Exhaust or DC Cat Back Exhaust DC Headers JWT Pop Charger and then get a HKS FCON SZ ECU fitted and mapped So the question is will I get any overall power gains,(i'm thinking around 20BHP from this) or will I just be wasting money on alot of noise?
  23. I'll keep my eye's peeled too. Someone down our road had two beemers nicker last week, so it sounds like a gang
  24. No way, sounds more like he's going out on the pull and doesnt want to use his micra. Why don't you drive it and see if it's gone
