Hi folks. Time to start another build thread. My plans for this arrnt set in stone so things that are getting fitted just now might change along the way as I see it all coming together. Some parts look nice until you put them next to others so the end result is anyone's guess. Lol. So the Scottish summer decided to show itself this morning so I took the opertunity to remove the front bumper to test fit my Nismo V3 copy. For the price I paid I was actually surprised how it fitted and looked. It's in no way perfect but I can sort it out no worries and the cost saving over a original .... Well it was a no brainier. I doublt I'll keep the slatted side vents. I'll probably smooth them out . Issues to note with the bumper are : a few lines around the headlights need extended to close the gaps. Where the bumper meets the inner arch liners need lengthened to allow coverage Under tray is around 4" short and I'll need to make a custom one to attach it correctly ( oem bumper comes with the extender I believe) I was also going to test fit the vented arches I had but the scottish summer ended and the heavens opened so I buttoned her all back up and got soaked through in the process...... Can't wait to have a garage again ! While the wheels were off I stuck a set of 19" forged rays on to see if they cleared the brembos ok. Seem fine. Offsets look close to original wheels so I might need spacers if I decide to run with these. Thanks for reading and enjoy the pictures Paul Stripped of and all looks original and clean for a 53 plate :-) Arch lines look good Headlight gaps need a little work Over all quite happy with the fit Might get these stripped and painted to see how the look on the car There's a good 10mm clearance for the brembos :-)

(quote) If you don't mind my asking, why did you sell and get another one? Just wanted a newer model? Or maybe a new project? Mike (quote) I sold my zed after owning and customising it over 5 years it was a great car. I've since had a civic type r, a 450bhp Subaru Impreza hatchback and an 560bhp R35 GTR. I need to release some money to do a house extension so the GTR is up for sale. I spent a while looking for a car that I could run cheaply enough and still allow me to have fun modifying it :-D I did want a car I hadn't had before but nothing else floated my boat. So came back to old faithful. I'm glad I did as this has been the best / most informative forum I've ever used :-) Cheers Paul

Hi mate. Welcome on board. I've recently bought my 2nd 350z. After selling my previous one 4 years ago which I owned for 5 years. I viewed 5 cars before finding my new one. A few from dealers and a few private sales. I was looking for a -06 ( lower tax ) UK spec ( cheaper insurance) , low mileage and good condition. I found it difficult to find one that ticked all the boxes and not pay too much. I found that the ones I viewed were not taken care off. If you get the chance buy one from a forum member but be quick as they don't hang around. I've been part of this site for years and the information on it is invaluable. As a few guys have said. I would gladly buy a tracked car from any of the guys on here as they will be taken care off and maintained. At the end of the day our cars are our pride and joy :-) Happy hunting Paul

I do like them :-). But it's like a can of worms with those wide kits lol. Air ride suspension , massive wheels, bigger brakes. Before you know it I've spent my GTR money lol -
