i found it hard to find a decent bodykit that added something to the car without taking to much away, thats why i ended up with the Amuse kit - most of the others out there are complete tosh, the nismos are very nice but if like me you want something a bit different you just have to trawl through ebay.com till something take your fancy....then find a decent company to ship it for you......good luck

a guy called Simon Russel who has a workshop over in Irvine, top bloke and knew the kind of finish i was looking for, would highly recommend him

i didnt go to the extent of engine out as mine was black, every other panel, check and glass was removed - will take some pics of the engine bay when i get a chance to clean it

cheers again guys for your kind comments - im soooo happy with the end result ! got the nismo exhaust fitted today, not really loud at all - a bit of a deeper note but no were near as loud as my teg was. i may try some high flow cats to see what the end result is. weather has been abismal typical after 2-3 weeks of great weather. jacko: the washer hid washers were cut out by the bodyshop - for some reason i though it would be a good idea to keep them lewis: the fitment of the nismo spoiler was spot on and the quality of it after it was painted surprised me and the painter (simon) cant wait to get some wheels was looking a some 19" volk SF's but i see them every where i look now here are a couple more pics:

cheers guys not had time to get anymore decent pics as i was away paintballing today (friken sore those little balls !) the wheels are getting changed for 19"s which will be gun metal or anthracite to match the handles, the rear lights are 2006 leds with 3 coats of anthracite mixed with laquer, i also got the strut bar sprayed anthracite and it looks sweet body kit is Powerhouse Amuse and fits perfectly , spoiler is nismo v2 with carbon blade ( thanks to geoffery at EPR for supplying it and it also fits perfectly and of very high quality badges have been removed and flushed as have the rear wiper and washer and aerial i am taking it out tonight to a little show but as usual it is pissing down so probably no decent pics cheers Paul

ok guys just in from cleaning the interior ( the guy was going to do it but 1. i want it back now and 2. i wanted to do a proper job) as per the unwriten rule up here in scotland - as soon as you finish washing your car it must rain. it was very dull and im not very happy with the pics as it looks nothing like it, so i will post only one to help feed you habit and will get some more taken tomorrow when the sun hopefully show its face. the side lights and rear lights in the bumper are going in to get tinted at a later date let me know what you think http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w204 ... 0_0990.jpg

well the time has finally come for me to go and she her again cant wait - seemingly needs to be carfully taked out of the bodyshop as there is a slight slope that the new skirts may hit on will get some pics up asap - but bearing in mind it wont look until i get those standard rims off it

just phoned up to change my details and after about 20 minutes of "we will be right with you" manage to add the bodykit, nismo exhaust, K&N induction kit and told them about the paint changing - £45 RESULT ! i did have three policys with them and you get extra discount for every policy held but had to change my van policy as they took off my named driver and never told me and when i went to insure it again they wouldnt let me have another driver on the policy???? so had to switch

that is a very good price for the extra modifications cover will have to give them a phone today when i get in from work to update my policy

insured with direct line 27 years young married with her as named driver garaged KA20 postcode no points or convictions 10000 milage 4 years no claims 53 plate £491.40 dreading telling them about new bodykit, wheels, colour etc .

the guys says the HULK will be ready for late on saturday - but i popped over today and I DONT THINK SO time seems to be going backwords just now

mine is getting a full change of colour respray at the moment with all parts removed (windows, trims, lights etc.) and the guy is doing it for £2300 - which i believe to be very reasonable for this quality of job, it could be done cheaper going with the same colour and just masking the windows etc up but in my opinion would devalue the car a bit more and leave some very crappy edges, just my thoughts. go for something unusual and stand out from the crowd !!

i really quite thick when it comes to this.....but i take it the wheels would stick out further dues to the increase in wheel width but also stick in further due to the difference in offset ??? thanks for your help guys
