  1. Very nice. Whats the specs on it - GT? millage. How much did you get the dealer down in price?
  2. As long as people don't just say "X are crap" and they justify thier reasoning like "X said they would call when ready but did not and then overcharged me X amount" then it should be fine. That along with a disclaimer at the bottom to remove responsibility from the club
  3. Dare definatly don't manufacture they just import. A number of times they have brought out wheels which they have said are the only ones in the country made for them for another importer such as DGT internation to bring in exactly the same wheel.
  4. according to a lot of owners, the two words never go together didnt I read it on here that its not a genuine Bose system anyway ,and is in fact just another make badged up as a Bose?? Correct its a dadged up Clarion unit The speakers may be Bose but the head unit isn't
  5. My thoughts on Supaguard Outside - Waste of time. All it is, is a good thick wax. For around £50 you could get yourself all the stuff to do it and have lots left for many years to come. Inside - It might have some value but I am sure you would be able to pick up a similar product for £20/£30. The majority of what you are paying for is them doing the work. You only need to look on ebay to see how cheap the actual Supaguard kit is. If I were you I would just buy a kit off ebay and then spend a morning cleaning it and doing it myself. A hell of a lot cheaper than £300. Here you got - £20 all in http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/supaguard-paint-and-interior-protection-kit_W0QQitemZ290014261472QQihZ019QQcategoryZ72201QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  6. OK You see my problem is 350zOnline say +15 and +20 SWT say ET32 and ET38 Is ET +ve or -ve offset. If +ve that would mean +32 and +20 Which according to the picture below would mean they stick out FURTHER not less But I think its the complete oposite as you say +32 will have them sitting in the arch. In the same way if I have +30 and put a 15mm spacer on it, it becomes a +15 wheel which to me would mean its the opposite to that picture
  7. I'm sure your guess is right as there is not alot else that goes on in that village lol. Only 1 other Z here at work too suprisingly
  8. Probably worth looking at the CAT course thats being talked about on the other forum. Designed to teach you about the car. If it came at a time i had some money I would have gone for it straight away
  9. Most places that do Airfield track days are also available for private hire, the major problem would be cost. Unless you got a lot of people then it would cost quite a lot. But then you have so many people its a nighmare to organise. Your best bet would be to go on one of the airfield track days - maybe organise a special 350z one somewhere. The people can be aware that people are going to be attempting drifting etc rather than the normal racing line.

    Tyres

Performance Tyres should be able to do it without any problems. They sorted some 20" rare chromes with rubber bands without any problems including having to reverse fit them. Performance Tyres are going to be fitting mine.

    Tyres

I doubt you will fit 4 tyres in the car. Over the weekend I just fit 4 19" rims into the car - 1 in the boot, 1 above rear speakers and 2 in the passenger seat. With tyres on there would be no way they would fit in.

  13. Ah I will keep an eye out if I go that route to work (Hursley). you a teacher there?
  14. Welcome to the club. I will keep an eye out for you in my travels as I live in Chandlers Ford
  15. yup I did buy it. Did a great job at cleaning up the car just can't really justify that sort of money on a polisher at the moment - need it for some wheel refurbs

  17. Cool - in the bin it will go (well put it with the other stuff to keep for when i sell it.
  18. Just had my front wheels off my Z. I have a UK car with the brembos. There is a bolt that sticks out from the sub between two of the studs. It looks like its there to align the wheel or something. can it just be removed if it gets in the way?
  19. yes offset is in mm +22 means the centre of the wheel is 22mm towards the inside of the arch i.e. engine side If you put a 10mm spacer on it would push it out 10mm bringing it OUT to +12 As for the how far is it - take the width, Divide by 2 - that gives you the distance from the middle. If you have a +ve offset subtract that number to the number to give the distance to the outside lip. If you have -ve offset add that number to get the distance to the outside lip
  20. My god that is lot. Would be interesting to see if its that much better than a proper machine polish using Sonux polishes and then a nice few thick layers of P21S awax (which comes in around £250 including polisher)
  21. I know the rays are ET +33 on the rear with 8.5x18..so... Rims will be 28mm further out Tyres will be 275 from 245 are 30mm wider = 15 each side + 3mm further out due to offset change = 18mm further out So they will not really stick out that much more
  22. yup sounds about right - what you also have to remember is thats the difference for the actual rim. You may also have larger tyres on there i.e. 245/45/18 -> 275/35/19 - these are 30mm wider so will stick out 15mm more than standard So you have to work out a combination of how much wider the tyres are and how you are moving the offset around i.e. going from 8" ET30 -> 9.5" ET22 with a 245 -> 275 would mean The rim would sit a further 27mm further out The tyre is 15mm wider each side + 8mm wider offset -> 22mm sider So - the rim would be sitting 27mm further out than your standard wheel but the tyre would only be sitting 22m wider than the standard tyres. offsets are all sort of fun
  23. A very handy site for working out differences in wheels is http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp
  24. Whats your budget for the head unit? As for CD Changer - do you have an ipod already or mp3 player? If not then there is nothing wrong with a CD changer. If you do have an ipod etc then worth looking at a head unit with capability to play it
