Don't have a problem with it myself really. If you are bending the rules you have to expect to get caught.

Never heard this before - when did they release that info?

370z Preview - Saturday 23rd May - Sturgess Nissan
Rob_Quads replied to MITZ@CougarStore's topic in 370z General
Worth going along if your near. I never really liked it much from all the pics but having seen on at Japfest at the weekend IF i was looking to get something like that it would be considered. Interior does look much nicer - more refined although still not up to audi quality. -
Unless your going on the track you should go for the red stuff. Yellow stuff are really designed for track and take that bit longer to warm up and be effective i.e. not what you want on a cold morning drive to the shops.
-
Had not heard of them before but they look good - well priced too. Hmm never liked my rotary myself, maybe I'll go back to the Rotary, always felt I got better results myself with it.
-
Yup its a rotary - You have to be careful with these as its easier to burn/screw the paint. For ramdom orbit there are really only two options- the porter cable (but this needs voltage converters) or the Meguiars G200 which is essentially the same but converted for 240V

Lol - Many many cars end up with totally different engines. How much has changed between the Focus RS of last and the current generation - Pretty much all of it. The 350z came out in 2002 (i think) and since there has been lots of development in the world of engines. They don't change all the components due to a high failure rate they change them because they can design them better (there may be the odd one in there that they will have improved reliability but that happens on all cars)
-
I think the big drop in price has already occurred as the dealers have all shifted most of the stock they have got. There 'may' be another shift once it comes out and people trade in thier 1/2yr old cars for the 370z but with the market as it is I don't think it will be a big enough seller for the market to be flooded with 350s

How come +33 is so far off yet thats what the Rays are?

Been looking at the various filters/induction kits and I am liking the look of the Pop Charger. One part I am not 100% convinced by is the 'heat shield'. Obviously this is going to stop some heat from the engine bay but to me there is more than could be done. Has anyone attempted to extend the standard shield so that it surrounds the filter on 3 sides i.e. bottom, drivers as normal but also behind it? At the moment if you sitting in traffic there is nothing to stop it sucking in heat from behind i.e. stale warm air. Don't like simple bolt on mods - still want to mod them a little

Looks a bit dodgy to me. Make sure you record all communication between the two. See how much its going to cost to repair and if its big enough then let Nissan UK know you are going to be putting in a small claims for it.
-
Glad you were not able too - really not happy with the sub thats in there at the mo. Looking at getting a hertz although my ideal would be to get one of my old faithfuls Orion H2 10.4 (which I know works really well with my Audison amp) As a result not spent that long setting it up

www.dentdiamond.co.uk for all the information you require

What can I say - Didn't think a 350-uk.com stand with a couple cars would look very good lol. Need to get another couple of layers of wax onto the car but shes starting to be shiny again after some abuse over the winter. Sooo like the look when shes all nice and shiny. sunset350z - Was that you driving round to the other stand from Dent Diamond I went past? I left quite early as didn't want to get caught by the chaos of leaving and had seen all there was to see really.

Today went to Japfest today and Dent Diamond worked their magic on my passenger door. Had 6 dings I wanted removing of which one was a rather sharp pin head ding quite close to the edge of the door so was not sure if they would be able to get to it. Got there just after 9, unfortunately it was drizzling with the odd downpour but parked up under gazebo. Craig then got to work. After having a look at the panel he found there was actually a few more little dings which I had not even seen. Started to see the dings slowly disappear so I would never have known they were there. Craig was really friendly, explaining how its done etc (not that I would want to attempt it). Ended up getting rid of all wanted and more, all for a stonking show special of £40 Below are some pics to show the difference. So happy with the work and now my door looks 100% again. Would recommend these guys without any hesitation. First Couple of Dings along Body Line 3 Pin dents & bigger dent (again on the Body Line) All Dings removed and car cleaned - Oh how nice it is to have no dings. Nice crisp Body Line (touch wood) Car Parked up at Japfest to Craig and crew from Dent Diamond
-
While it may take some stoking lol it just feels so much nicer than bare plastic
-
There is actually quite a lot of space back there - a good 2+ ft3 which is enough for many 10" subs. The big problem as you say to is its not sealed - its NO where near sealed there are lots and lots of holes all over it. Its possible to seal it up but its hard work.
-
Very interesting - You got any close up pics of the various bits of the dash. One of the drawbacks of leather is the thickness of it, one of the advantages of looking at Alcantara.
-
Pah - Sounds like the bodyshops don't know how to do it properly.
-
Will be interesting to see how it looks. Have you considered smoothing the arches in properly? I have never liked the 'bolt on' look of that style of arch on anything over than a rally car. With you going to the extremes of smoothing everything else off I think it would look 100% better if the arches were smoothed as well.

Apps are starting to appear - this is one of the better ones - http://devtoaster.com/products/rev/index.html although you obviously need the ODB-II interface. Its going to be interesting to see what people start developing using 3.0 now that you can work the other way i.e. you could use your iPhone to control all the bits on the car. Dock the phone then use it to control all the AV etc.
-
lol - Why would anyone need a 3.5L engines car just to go from A-B Many many useful apps out there i.e. SatNav - why have to carry round a bulky thing when you have one on your phone (or spend Stuuupid money on poor implementations from manufacturers)
-
I will probably end up getting one as an upgrade from the current iPhone 3G but don't go expecting anything amazing. Its pretty definate that the major changes are just 3.2MP autofocus camera (wow still only 5 years behind every other phone), 32GB, compass, FM transmitter, faster CPU (600MHz to 400Mhz) in the same size casing as before....BUT the same battery. Unless they have got some bloody good chip designers I bet its going to mean even shorter battery life than the current model i.e. nothing amazing. IMO the major progress will all be in the 3.0 software which a free upgrade on the iPhone anyway.

If it was them standing with a Gun then need stop you. Pretty sure the 14 days is more for the photo cameras

You got any pictures of your tailgate underside, doors open etc? i.e. where all the shuts are?
