Nokia N97 Bluetooth and Nurrish Satnav prob.Help!!
davetstan replied to davetstan's topic in 350Z General
Will do Dave. Once again, thanks for squeezing me in. Bounty,,, I know what you mean, TBH this was one of the reasons I decided to take the plunge and get the system. Pretty gutted it doesn't work. Also I seem to have lost my radio stations,,, admittedly I only had 2, talk sport and 909 but they have stopped working. I thought the radio would still work??? Dave -
Very nice indeed!!!!!

Chaps, Had the above fitted this morning off Dave. (Thanks again mate, good to meet you). However, I can't get my Nokia N97 to ring once paired up on the Bluetooth. It shows connected on the paired screen but when called my phone rings instead of it going via the bluetooth. Has anyone else got this phone, and managed to get it working on this bluetooth or any others??? Any help greatfully received? Thanks Dave PS It worked on my Mrs's battered old pink Samsung so I know it works.

Ha ha,, glad I didn't go for the K1 as I use the car everyday. Although I was tempted.... Sounds like a good deal you got there then Shaun. It does make it look good. I looked at the brows on your other thread but didn't post a yeah or neigh. TBH, I do like them but I think you can do too much sometimes, and your motor looks pretty spot on in its current form. But at the end of the day,,,, its your car, if you want them on thats your perog. Dave

Pain in the rear with no music. Although, I must admit since I got a decent exhaust I tend to like to listen to that instead of bucks fizz's greatest hits (joke) Whats the damage on the cf bonnet Shaun? do you reckon one would look any good on my GM? Reason being some $%^& keyd it and its going to be around 300 for a respray so might aswell get a new one.....

Good man,, make sure you post another piccy up in the dark.... I am going to give mine a good going over on Monday I think, weather permitting. Spent 1500 on it in the last month so need to get the most out of it... Really looking forward to this sat nav and mp3 gizmo. My jdm bose unit is total Tottenham, a steaming pile of hotspur. Jumps all the time.

Very nice Shaun...Love the bonnet... I'm thinking of going that way, one day soon.... I was itching to cleam mine today but driving down to Birmingham tomorrow for a Nurrish Nav so it seemed pointless. M6 is bound to be full of salt. d Dave

Sparky,,, Had the same fitted 2 weeks back and mine was doing the same... My mechanic was scratching his head at first until he tightened up the bolts in the mid section. This brought it well in to line and clear of the cross beam,,, its fine and dandy now.... Try doing that pal, I am sure it will sort out your prob. Dave

Top post off 3FIDDYZ first of all.... Very helpful jonty, shows you what to expect...... To put my two penneth in, I have just had the Japspeed Y pipe and the scorpion Mid pipe and back box fitted. Y pipe £119 delivered next day from Japspeed including some very nice gloves which I thought was a nice touch... Google them, bell em and ask for Ed and he will sort that. For the Scorpion, PM CS on here, £360 delivered and again very good and helpful service. I had mine fitted by my local boy for forty quid. So a total layout of £519........Alternatively a trip to CS if you are within range of the Midlands. Well worth it, sounds very nice, not too loud like the K1 but a nice raspy noise...... Dave

Z Meets in general - Wales 2010 in particular
davetstan replied to ATTAK Z's topic in Meets, Shows and Events
I missed last years run due to something or other,,, anyway,,,its a great day out or weekend if you do both. The roads are brill and meeting people and seing people's faces as we roar past at 70 mph exactly, is superb. The only negative point is, I always come home needing to buy everything I get to see on everybody else's car that I want and am jealous of..... Hope to see you all soon, this year I will be heard also, now my jdm exhaust has gone to exhaust heaven... RIP!!! Dave -
Pics of Z are 2.5yrs old but apart from a dent in drivers side rear quarter from someone who was kind enough to bump into it last year and not hang around - it still looks as good. Barstools,,, there is always some arse around the corner to ruin you're day. All the best anyway mate,,, pug looks nice,,, just remember, you will always have that warm feeling of formeley owning a z next time one blows you away from the lights.... All the best Dave

Good man Chris. I agree, getting a loan is perfectly acceptable, however shop around and don't get one with front loading interest. ie you borow 5k and immediately you owe £5800. Get one that charges interest on a daily rate. Lloyds TSB do these for one. Then, if you have any spare cash at the end of the month you can pay a bit off extra. Thus reducing the term, and also the total interest you will pay on the total loan. You never know whats around the corner mate. Say in 12 months you have changed your mind again!! (heaven forbid) and you decide to sell and clear your debts off. If you have a daily accruing interest loan, you can save a few quid if you pay it off early. They do charge for doing this. But the way around that is pay off almost all of it and then just let the last one or two payments to drip out of your account as normal. Then it just closes down, job done. No early settlement figure to be paid. Lovely stuff. These types of loans basically give you more flexibility. At the end of the day, you want to borrow the cash and pay as little as possible for the priviledge. Hope this makes sense mate, it is 04:30 as I couldn't sleep so I may have rambled on a bit. Do a bit of research before you jump in and refinance... Oh and I'm sure you don't need telling to steer clear of the PPC option...Load of old bollards!!! Hope this helps. Any questions drop us a PM. Regards Dave

There ya go andlid. Coops proved, persistance beats resistance. Gutted for you mate but I'm sure you will get it sorted out. Just don't let them fob you off. Oh and in future,,,,, don't be a lazy arse and wash it yourself!!!! Dave
