  1. I've driven all 3.Owned a S/C Z and a Supra and my best mate had an Evo 7 for 3 years. Evo is a money pit. If you get an AYC fault prepare to dig deep to fix it The Z is my favourite car ever, If I had the chance to get my old one back to the spec it was before I stripped it for parts I'd take it back over any other car I've owned since. The Supra is a brilliant car. I'm actually enjoying buying parts for it as they are so cheap compared to Z/GTR prices The Z & the Supra are very similar to drive IMO. You really need to try them all first though. Personally I wouldn't bother with the Evo, its unreliable, expensive to maintain & its ugly as hell.
  2. Supras are pretty reliable assuming you buy a good one, engines are pretty much bullet proof and can take huge power with ease. They handle pretty well for a big car especially with a set of coilovers. I dont think they are that different to drive, i can see why a lot of supra owners have moved to zeds. My supra was averaging about 8mpg when i used it for work daily the Z averages about 23mpg on the same run. Supra is a lot cheaper to tune also & parts are pretty reasonably priced compared to Nissan spares
  3. Its not expensive. Compare it to a piggyback or stand alone and its a bargain.

    My Supra

Should find out later this week once its been stripped. My mind is always changing TBH, I've done the R34 & with the initial outlay for one I couldn't really enjoy it as much as I could with a cheaper base car.

    My Supra

Engine is out & ready to be stripped & then sent for machining. Bottom end will consist of * Wiseco forged pistons * Eagle forged rods * New OEM waterpump * Titan Motorsports oil pump * ARP bolts * ACL bearings * New OEM gaskets I've also purchased some TRD engine mounts & new brackets as mine were pretty knackered, TRD thermostat & TRD transmission mounts. I also got involved a group buy for some Powerhouse Racing pulleys A local owner with a 700hp Supra has crashed & written off his recently built car - good news for me as I bought his 500 mile old clutch on the cheap Also got a Whifbitz Catch can off him Also spotted a SRD intake manifold at near half price, so I got that aswell  Once the bottom end is back then its time to start concentrating on the cylinder head. I still have a few stronger billet brackets and arms that I need to buy but atleast its coming along & I have knocked a surprising amount of parts off the "to buy" list.
  6. Had mine for 5 years & sold it 3 years ago Bought 2 others since but neither has lasted more than a week
  7. Pricing up parts for the Supra rebuild Starting to get expensive
  8. £70! I got my genuine nismo ones for that Where?! Redline were finding sources at £200+ Thats a hell of a mark up. I bought mine from a Nissan dealer in the states & it cost me about £80 after shipping and taxes http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/59608-genuine-nismo-carbon-pillar-garnish-setsin-stock/page__st__20 £150-£220 Try west covina nissan in the states Very reasonable shipping prices

  10. I can confirm that the stick on ones remain firmly on the car at autobahn speed You could always try a carbon skinning kit and do your own? I tried it & cocked it up massively
  11. Is that all? You wouldn't even bring the GTR down to castle combe for a run with me - your numbers are just for the pub O and its OVER 400 in BOTH the 350 and the 370 Meh, I'll see you at Combe next April once the Supra is repaired
  12. R34 GTR Supra TT 993 Turbo Hakosuka GTR 69 Camaro
  13. If you go Supercharged go for Vortech over HKS. The HKS kit is better built & quieter, but it doesn't make as much power & the power it does make is pretty high in the rev range. Mine didn't make full boost until around 5-5.5K RPM
  14. Syvecs anti lag ftw This may have contributed to the demise of my engine my mate cut the video off before the flames appeared
  15. Do it Tim Syvecs will be the icing on the cake

    My Supra

Car should hopefully look like this once its done I think with the sort of power I'm aiming for I can justify the wing
  17. just go FI Chris. I wasted so much cash chasing NA gains that I could have gone FI for the same price

    My Supra

Thats the plan. I've got the 330 for the daily so the Supra will be a sunny day car

    My Supra

Its kind of nice to have a big build going on again not had one since my Z
  20. Nothing wrong with it IMO. Win by any means. I'd be pretty annoyed if Cardiff players didn't make the most of any contact to gain an advantage.
  21. It's beginning to feel that way Nobody will let me lend a car anymore
  22. I'd hate to see how unreliable a Clio is compared to my E46
