  1. hehe, I can think of a few cars that sound nicer! However, all I care about is not sounding like a ricer. Would the Nismo be inappropriately loud? No. IMO it's far too quiet
  2. I don't get this approach at all. The ECU and FI setup are so vital to the health of your Z Why not just wait till its FI time? and get a complete bundle with a warranty .? How would you feel if you turned up a year after having you Haltech done to pickup your newly Fi'd zed. to be told "sorry, the haltech doesn't do the job properly!"? If you are planning to go the FI route,.... You HAVE to get both done at the same time, by the same tuner. No satisfaction, NO PAY! or a free return to stock We know the Haltech is good enough to support FI. If I can get a good price on the haltech fitted before I go FI then a bit more n/a power until I can go FI would be nice At the moment my main issue with going FI is finding an insurance company to cover me so a bit more power until then would be nice Ian mate, you are so right (along with Mark) on so many things! I just feel ( 11.5 months into my warranty period) that you can get into a real mess with this approach maybe best to have this conversation in Wales rather than on the forum....
  3. why have you two not got your names down for the june meet?

  5. Look like RS721'S but those shown have more bolts..... Might be an older model.... Yeah I thought it was the 721's but couldnt find them with that many bolts either. Could just be a cheapo american wheel
  6. Theres just not a lot of call for it at those prices for the people that plan to stay N/A. Both Tim & me have future FI plans so its something that will be needed sooner or later
  7. Look like Racing Harts not sure which model though
  8. Decent price but I think getting 20 people will be a problem. Though if you can get the interest, i'm in
  9. tbh I'd leave it as it is. It looks great
  10. Screen shot or it didnt happen My best 253 Thought it might not be believed I got waaaaaaaaaaay lucky with it, my finger slipped & I pressed the button
  11. What mods were used to achieve this? My car made 240WHP on a DynoDynamics, but I have a feeling that the popcharger negated any gains I got from my plenum spacer (intake temps were quite high, much higher than ambient). Also how did these mods effect the torque curve? I seem to remember that a member on here (maybe Ian) fitted decats (testpipes) and although it netted him some top end power, he lost quite a lot torque low down. I guess a remap might sort that bit out though. My torque was down to 240 ft/lb with decats in & 242 ft/lb with sport cats. Steve also made similar torque figures with sport cats. My exhaust setup is a bit strange though, I essentially still have decat pipes but they have been made into sport cats which is why I still get a lot of CELs. The dyno operator said last week that the popcharger was not helping my figures
  12. +1 Just stump up the cash for them
