    Gudzy's GT86

Very nice How does it compare to the Z? the GT86/BRZ will probably be my next car
  2. Very little, its a Japanese book Its mostly pictures of parts available in Japan
  3. These have been wired to fit UK 6 pin configuration. I have left enough wire on the harness to make it easier for you to install £250 + Delivery
  4. Never used or fitted. I bought these from Torqen a few months back £40 + postage
  5. Car is definitely being broken now Will start stripping off parts over the next few weeks and advise as and when they are available If anyone is after dibs on anything in particular, let me know ASAP and I can try and get those off sooner. Eventually the entire car will be broken, so if you need any interior or OEM bits let me know Mods: I'll probably just start individual threads so I can upload pics and keep track a bit better
  6. Was hoping you'd go for this
  7. The downside is, that's the list of things i Found in an afternoon and after 14 months work! Sure theres plenty more to do on top of this
  8. OK, so after spending yesterday going around the car and seeing what needs doing. I have come up with the following list Replace rear brake pipes Install Thermostat (May already be done) Install pulleys Install oil filter assembly setup cams install water pipe neck make LHS intercooler pipes plastic weld front slam panel due to damage repair FMIC brackets Make a battery box/brackets behind passenger seat finish running wires for battery relocation finish fuel pump install install fuel filter purchase and run fuel lines for return system finish power steering lines install starter motor install power steering pump install tensioner pulley install oil cooler install clutch install flywheel install crank pulley install wiring harness figure out which sensors are required for inlet manifold and purchase figure out which sensors are required for throttle body and purchase install vaccuum hoses finish heater pipe setup install chassis brace install front lower arm bar install rear lower arm bar install water temp sensor install oil temp sensor install oil pressure sensor install oil catch can make and install a radiator over flow tank fabricate a custom decat/downpipe install custom prop shaft relocate gear shifter install oil lines for turbo install water lines for turbo Install Accesory belt finish front brake line install Fabricate throttle cable bracket and figure out how to get throttle cable working purchase and install spark plugs roll rear arches purchase 4 new tyres sort alignment purchase and install welded crank sprocket Purchase and install electric fans
  9. As above, its all down to cost to finish it and more importantly finding someone that I can trust and that has the passion to finish the project. I'm in discussions with what I think is the perfect person but we will see when it comes down to money.
  10. So this arrived at my house today figured I may aswell have a bit of a tidy up. this is just some of the stuff that came out of the car decided to chuck the front bumper on just because (I'm still sorting through bags of bolts trying to find everything hence why its not "fitted"! Test fitted my spark plug cover Chucked a seat in to free up some garage space Custom prop shaft Defi gauge in the door vent Battery relocation. Still need to buy a smaller battery Custom power steering tank hidden away, catch can to also be mounted here So now comes the dilemma. I've been in discussions with another garage to finish it off for me but it wont be until later this year/early next year. If I do go ahead with it then I will be making a few changes to the spec of the car. Depending on the outcome of the cost discussion then I may still end up breaking it. Either way, its home with me now and I can take my time to decide what I'm doing
  11. Theres a lower model than the GTST with a non turbo engine. Personally, I'd never trade a Z for a GTST and certainly not in a straight swap. Most GTST's will have been beaten half to death also so finding a good one is hard
  12. I've imported from Japan twice. The second time my car got stolen at the docks, luckily it was insured and I got my money back. Use a reputable company - I'd recommend jurgen at jm imports any time. The hardest part is waiting for the boat to arrive
  13. If anyone wanted to buy the entire project as it is, im very willing to listen. Id even chuck in the Syvecs, Brides & audio equipment that I was keeping Thanks Granville Not true coilovers, spring rate is 10K front/7K rear I've got no need for OEM parts. The entire car will be broken and then scrapped. The lights will come ready for a UK car as I will just cut the wiring so you can splice it straight in. They have DRL incorporated in them. These are the lights
  14. Thanks Colin It's a massive shame but after 14 months I've reached breaking point mentally and financially
  15. I'm not going into details right now but its highly unlikely my car will be finished. I will know more in the next 7-10 days, after which I fully expect the car to be broken for parts. MODS: Hope this is OK as just a feeler thread? I wont be taking any money from anyone until a decision is made and by that point I will have pictures of everything with my name uploaded. All Pictures can be seen on my build thread & if anyone wants additional pictures I can provide. Right now its just a feeler thread to see if it is worth breaking. PLEASE refrain from comments about my decision to break it and not finish this project. Those who know me well enough will know why its got to this stage.
