  1. I am selling my double din Pioneer F310BT unit. It has sat nav, bluetooth & ipod connectivity. I used it in my car for about 6 months. There are 2 small scratches on the unit - 1 on the screen & 1 near the control knob from when it was fitted (pictured below) but do not effect the operation or accuracy of the touch screen. It also has a detachable screen for security purposes Pioneer AVIC-F310BT Main Features I am looking to get £400 delivered for the unit

  7. Oh wow, I'll be waiting a while then it seems! Bolton, Lancs. I'd happily drive down and pick them up (I owe someone in South Wales a visit anyway), but I expect I'd need a bigger car unless I wanted to dump the originals, so that's out of the question. I'll definitely take them off your hands at that price though. Just PM me with how you want to go about it & an e--mail address or some other way to get in touch with you if that's good for you! PM on its way
  8. Thanks for your reply mate When would you start causing harm, when you keep it at around 6k for a prolonged period? What about revving it past the red line but not holding it there? I've always thought it was bad due to the lack of airflow. Also heard it's hard on the gearbox/clutch? On the other hand I've heard it's good to rev it up whilst idling to blow out the carbon particles etc clogging the system when it's not been thrashed for a while. Gearbox and clutch won't be engaged so won't be moving and there's no load on the engine so very little to go pop, especially with the rev limiter in play. Blowing out the particles sounds like a myth to me, there's no real science behind that at all that I can see. A good ol' fashioned Italian tune up can help sometimes, but not just revving in neutral. As far as holding the car at the limiter goes, whilst I wouldn't do it personally that's pretty much how they test engines to destruction. I'd be amazed if Nissan didn't do just that to the V6 in the Zed for days on end. I've seen someones engine go pop from revving it. Was a chav at Santa Pod a few years ago. It was hillarious

  12. Correct A cat back exhaust will include a y-pipe. Most exhausts are advertised as cat backs because its the most common type used on other cars. Theres not many exhaust systems for the Z that will include a Y-pipe aswell.
