  1. Good lad! Feel free to link to a project thread or anything as we are all petrolheads. +1 I love a good project thread
  2. Leave it there I had one living in the wing mirror on my Vectra for months, it used to always come out when I parked up & then run back in once I set off
  3. You are aware that the stock exhaust is not true dual?
  4. Nonsense You really need to see one in the flesh to appreciate them, I think a lot of people would agree with that I used to vibrate the houses in my street just at idle It used to sound amazing You really could hear me coming from a good few miles away
  5. But the ARC is easily the best sounding intake for the Z
  6. Advantages - The noise, weight savings, the noise better flow Disadvantages - None apart from the abuse you recieve on here I ran a single for nearly 4 years on my car, both NA & FI. It will flow a lot better than a non true dual twin since the gases are just exiting straight out instead of going into a huge box at the back - When I had a twin fitted, my custom exhaust guy said that the back box was a huge limiting factor in my setup I can't really say if it made me any extra power though as everytime I got dynoed I had a different setup It will be a lot cheaper to custom make aswell, I only paid about £350 for a brand new GReddy exhaust, although if I was buying now then I'd be waiting for the upcoming Tomei version If I ever get another Z, it will have a single on it again (although I may refrain from cutting out the silencers this time ) Couple of vids of the various setups I used HKS SC, Cosworth plenum, DC headers, Tomei decats, custom Y-pipe & GReddy exhaust with midpipe silencer removed ARC intake, DC headers, Japspeed decats, Ichiba Y-pipe & GReddy exhaust with the silencer cutout JWT popcharger, Custom HFC, Ichiba y-pipe & a GReddy exhaust with the midpipe intact A single will be loud, when mine was supercharged it was 101db at idle & 122db at 4.5K RPM BUT it was completley unbearable, you couldn't even hear the person sat next to you talking because it was so loud Everyone says how loud the K1 is but anyone who has heared my car in the flesh or been a passenger in my car will till you just how much louder than a K1 it is If you do go this route then make sure you get a big back box with it, there was someone on here who attempted a single exit with a small pipe & box and it looked awful
  7. There is a shop in the states that sells the 370Z brakes as a kit with an adaptor to fit the 350Z. http://my350z.com/forum/brakes/414298-n ... 200-a.html
  8. Should just plug into your exisiting harness & splice the blue/white cable into the blue/white cable off your speaker harness
  9. Greddy don't make a s/c kit They make a TT kit but that doesnt fit RHD cars. I'm pretty sure Abbey can supply the HKS kits but to get a Vortech your pretty much gonna have to get it from the states. Price will depend on how deep(fast) you want to go. If its just an easy 350hp then you could probably do it for around £3.5K if your handy with the spanners Anyone whos done FI from scratch on a Z will agree that whatever you set your budget at, expect to go over it as you find things that need upgrading as you go along. Has your car got any mods on it at the moment?
  10. In good working order, condition is OK. Unit is a couple of years old. You can pick up the ipod leads for it for a few quid on ebay. £60 delivered
  11. That sounds awesome Would definitely be my choice (Asumming theres no singles available yet )
  12. RHD Japan then They list them at £102. Might not be much cheaper than those though after you pay shipping & customs but atleast you know they will be real Nismo
