  2. You are so wrong Coloured nuts FTW Im more than happy to be wrong, i hate black wheels too so that ticks all the boxes Ian This is why I think it is silly posting up "what should I do" threads, at the end of the day you should do what you like and balls to everybody else!!!!! I completley agree Dave. Modding is generally individual taste & shouldn't be dictated by what other people say. I will occasionally ask for opinions on things, but whether I listen or not is a whole other matter You'll be pleased to know that the black wheels will be gone soon for something slightly less black & more "different"
  3. Hadn't been moved in 4 months by that point

  5. +1 Don't say that I've got my heart set on a SC *Wasso thinks* TT isn't engine model specific as far as DE and Facelift go....... are they......???? Nope Only HR is different Is it possible to get 1 pre-spooling turbo and one normal? i.e. removing as much potential for lag? I hate Turbo lag with a passion! Thing is the sound of a SC sounds far better than Turbo IMO There won't be a lot of lag, you only need to see Tim's videos for that have to agree with you, spent some time in husky's GT4 the performance is stonking, and because of it he's got a lot more noise going on. intake sucks, blows dumps etc. its great but for me after a while the novelty wore off, where as the whine on the SC makes me grin all the time. its more subtle and for me a more mechanical noise. but i'm running a proper old school charge cooled twin screw top mounted SC, i don't have much experience with the snail shell mounted SC setups. my guess is they still get all the SC whine, possibly more. My HKS was pretty quiet, the only real noise was from the BPV. Keysers Vortech is loud though I'm sure Anders will reccomend his usual BP kit

  7. If it was the 2 door coupe I'd sell my R34 to buy one of these Huge money though
  8. 0 is the lowest they do but they are out of stock untill end of April I've gone for the ET12s and will keep the 10mm spacers on there
  9. Clearing Brembos will also depend on the spoke design aswell as offset. IMO to get a flush look on a Z, you need an offset of around 12-15 but it will look crap if its not lowered aswell. If your not planning on lowering then ET20-25 is ideal
  10. They already have spacers they are 19 x 11 ET15
  11. The collars on the bottom of the Nismo ones are wider than stock, the fronts also have a resevoir on them & that interferes aswell They were already pretty tight as it was, really can't get a finger behind the back of the wheel & the strut Neons look awesome
  12. Plenty of good GTT's out there, just as easy to get power out of aswell I knew the wheels were a slightly ambitious fitment when I bought them Gonna order a set of Varrstoen TE37s reps in a 0 offset to compensate though
  13. Long overdue update Some good Some baaaaaaad Over Christmas I spotted a sale on a car audio website, the speakers in the GTR are crap & can barely be heared once the car is upto motorway speeds. I found a 2 for 1 offer on a set of speaker that were pretty highly rated & early impressions are pretty good. I can actually hear my music now I removed my FMIC & washed it and polished it up a bit, I also fitted my new hard pipe kit Finally settled on a choice of wheel nuts after months of looking. I ended up with purple Muteki nuts also managed to source some Volk centre caps in gloss black Fitted some neon blue led's in the footwells, gives a nice glow at night when you open the doors Carbon fibre lip & diffuser, Nismo smoked front & side indicators fitted Then my coilovers finally arrived. So Saturday morning I set off early to go to 360 Motorsport in Usk to get them fitted. We got the rear shock out & the new one into place, put the wheel back on and it immediately hit against the springs. Threw on a set of 10mm spacers & it was still touching. Any larger than that and the wheels will be too far out New shock out, old one back in, wheels back on and back home to cry having wasted a morning Wheels will be going up for sale & I will probably be ordering the Varrstoen's I originally planned to order next week. Really gutted about that because the RE30's suit the car so well
  14. Chris, has your zed ever had a blower? No I was putting across the general consenus I have from speaking to several owners who had been FI If the OP is undecided then I suspect he isnt in it 110% required to truely see it though. The owners I have spoken to who are happy with FI were very driven, knew every angle and did lots of research generally. Despite my thoughts on it, its something that I would do again. My biggest issue is the fact that I pulled out of getting a TT kit at the last minute & was never that taken with a S/C setup. It just didn't suit my driving style & I didn't get full boost untill pretty high in the rev range. If I had gone for the TT setup like I originally planned & budgeted for - I'd still have my Z now
