  1. Right, I know most of you will shoot this down, but I've been inspecting my Rays and decided they need an overhaul as they've some corroding, some kerbing from previous owner, and some damage from where the muppets at our local tyre centre cant install tyres, and I need some new front tyres soon! Now I dont want all four wheels off to just do them stock as it will cost time and money, so I had a look around for some done like my fav wheels - Volk TE37 Time Attacks, what do you guys think? I think I like the black with silver/polished lip atm, but like all 3 really. Not sure the silver and red lip suits the smaller size rim. Going to book some time of work and get my wheels down to Micheldever Tyres who send them off to Split and Polish in Kent. I'm off to put my flame suit on now. PS these wheels will suit the carbon bit I have on order from Phil, trust me
  2. I used to let the engine warm up on my old car, but tbh I cant be bothered these days. If I let it idle on the drive it never seems to warm up one bit, but driving it down my road at low revs gets the temps up at a nice pace and I get to work a few mins quicker
  3. Druridge Bay, so close mate Or Seahorses as Amanda calls it Was up that way over Xmas at Holy Island, then headed back down Sunderland via the coast road. Left it a bit late to head back and was following a crappy pug, but the coast road was much fun Car looks sweet
  4. PM leemik, he's more than happy to discuss his camera settings. Also a searchy on here will reveal his rolling shot settings
  5. More than enough info on Mikes car: http://www.mike-lee.org/car/volume01_issue01/index.htm And tell me this doesnt look sexy sans spoiler, pretty much what I'm aiming for (but in boring GM):
  6. I love Leemiks car, it just looks so slick. I'm aiming for somehting similar myself, but I prefered it when he didnt have the rear spoiler. Originally found it on MP3car forums where I *cough* borrowed *cough* some ideas for my carputer. I may as well save myself the hassle and buy his straight out! PS Dont look at the inside if you dont think there are many mods! (I know you meant exterior, but couldnt help it )
  7. How exactly are you cabling each of these up? There could be a number of things wrong, need to know what connections you have going from each bit of equipment to the amp
  8. +1 - AVP the game was one of the best ever, the film is just pants. Still I like Aliens and Predator, so I will probably go and see it.
  9. you've lost me completely Not sure he realised this is the Wanted forum?
  10. Amanda did wonder when you would get a retrim. She was a bit disapointed that the seats didnt match the rest of the car, which she was very impressed with I think you need pay another visit to Sunderland and get a retrim done, £400 sounds a very good price
  11. +1 - mine has always been high and I like em like that as it makes for faster gear changes So long as its not slipping, I cant see it being a problem. Can someone explain to me in laymans terms what happens when a clutch slips? How can you tell? the engine revs like a bastard ,and you go nowhere (in layman terms ) When the car is in gear and your depressing the accelerator? Basically yeah. Imagine that the clutch isnt grabbing so you keep revving it but you dont move very far. Kinda like when old ladies ride the clutch!
  12. I hope it does big kid If it means time off work I'm all for it Ditto, so long as my delivery from Phil arrives before the snow hits, will give me time to fit it
  13. thanks 4 that that was a lot of help im nt 18 yet so cant exactly go mad can i? And you can afford a Zed how exactly? I find it hard enough at 25!
  14. Looks like a foam lance gone mad to me
  15. +1 - mine has always been high and I like em like that as it makes for faster gear changes So long as its not slipping, I cant see it being a problem.
  16. Generally most people opt for a pop charger which is just JWTs way of saying a normal cone filter from what I can gather! Its basically a cone filter and a heat sheild, nothing more. JWT pop chargers can be had for about £90 from traders on here. Having spoken to a couple of traders, BMC are not recommended for our cars as the flow rates arent as high as a pop charger. HTH

    COLOUR Z

Buy the sumo zed, buy the sumo zed, we can have it as a club car and take it places like JTS and all have a go drifting
  18. Great Link Dorian, just a shames its for non UK Z Agreed Although, to be fair it is 2 years old and someone should've done a definitive guide for others since, shouldn't they? Lol I got half way taking my front bumper off saw the two pipes connecting to the washers, and thought hmm... have no idea what Im doing, so back went on the front bumper Thats when I wedged my hands in with a small screwdriver and managed to get mine swapped. Not the best way to do it but it worked, albeit my hands were bleeding a little
  19. Thats exactly what I'm doing
  20. I got away with only removing the outer fixings of the bumper on each side and left the middle ones, managing to get the bumper away from the body just enough to do the reflectors without having to remove the whole bumper. It was a sod though, and probably easier to remove the whole thing
  21. I'm in, no need to consult the missus, she had a great time last year too So who wants to arrange a record breaking Z parade lap?
  22. And of course Richie's stuff is real carbon whereas I believe the genuine Nissan stuff isnt if it isnt, it still looks good imo Of course - thats why I have one fitted still Just cant justify the price stealers want for it given its not even real CF! For less than £50 its definately worth a punt though.
