Well for once, I might just slightly agree with you, what about these Rota GTR/P45 as found on our very own BigPhils: I'm thinking for the cost, it wont be much more than getting mine refinished and fitting spacers for them as I need new front tyres anyway. Keep the Rays for the track and get new front tyres for the Rays when I can afford it.

Really? pm'd Hmmmmmm ..... I have a passenger with me, not sure we can all fit in the G? Definately want to see the car though, even if its just a passing visit, PM ya now I also called the B'ham office and although it is 24/7, I've had to give my name to get in and have to take my pass to get in, so dont think anyone else can park there
-
Not sure they do, but CF is the way forward, see Phil/ESR demo car:

Too much PM BigPhil or Envy, they'll give you a quote, but it should be sub £400

+1 - I only ever use RAW if I know the conditions are challenging and I know I can correct the problems in Photochop. Most people shouldnt bother with it. And if you dont know what it is you wont need it either

Right, well I think the cat is well and truely out of the bag, I'm now the proud owner of the lovely Varis carbon lip for the Zed (yup that one all the guys on the OC want ) Phil sourced this for me in excellent time, only a few days after my trip to his premesis. Came very well packed and the quality of it is amazing. Phil told me that the fit would be excellent, and I was blown away with it. Even offering it upto the bumper with no screws in place it fit very neatly. Once all the screws were in there are no gaps, 100% smooth meeting with the bumper all the way round. I can see why this cost what it does now Fitting was pretty easy, hardest parts were getting my 4yr old bolts undone (GT85 to the rescue!) and then doing them up again! LOL So piccies: All packed up: Out the packing: Yup, its authentic! Weave close up: Poor car falling apart: Test fit: Real fit: Out and about: Will post more piccies tomorrow when shes clean and the weather is hopefully better Very very happy with it and the looks, just need the other planned mods to finish it off!

Its all in the eye of the beholder as they say. On normal 7"x5" prints, not likely, on bigger ones, chances are yes. If you do slideshows on your 40" TV like me, they yes All I can suggest is that you try them both in various conditions and see if you can see the difference. I usually leave mine on max quality and delete poor photos rather than reducing the quality and keeping them all.

Its all down to how much compression it uses, SHQ will use less compression and as such you cant fit as much into the space you have. HQ will use a higher compression and you'll fit more. The lower the compression the better the quality will be and the more like the original scene it will be. You should have it on the highest you can without running out of space. Google JPEG compression if you are really interested in how it works

Got a pic? I know someone on this site that has the same one as me already I didnt get it from Envy btw, although I did ask them if they did it. Mr Phil did a stunning turn around on it for me, just missed my trip to him over xmas. This one? If it is this would love to see what it looks like on a Blade or GM... Think its destined to go on mine one day!! Maaaaaaaybe But I didnt have to pay delivery Watch this space for some piccies of it fitted Well if it dosnt happen to fit or you just change your mind then let me know!! Would pay you a £5 for it!!! Hope it looks as good in the flesh as it does in the pics. Good choice and will have mine soon I hope.. Unless I go with my other idea!! Oh it fits, and if you're in the right car park just now you'd see it gleeming in the sun But I'm worried if I told you where that was, people from teh OC might try and thieve it, so I'm keeping its location a secret

Lol, have you got a mac carputer? you down load a software created by some whizz kid call Amp http://www.tuaw.com/2007/01/04/amp-fron ... interface/ which is a frontrow interface, on it, it had a warhammer searcher which traced the networks in the area, strength and which ones were unlocked, then when you connect every now and again it would ask if you wanted to duel roam, you will need version 2.1 I think it is, as he updated it and the laterones apparently dont have this. Its free too. Bit like getting the right firmware on the psp then download wipeout for hacking galore Ahh I see, I've heard of Amp but not looked into it as its Mac. I have a mac mini in the living room but thats running Vista MCE. Did think about getting a mac for the car to replace my laptop but it too would run Windows as it has better software. Shame, wonder if I could port this to MS world

Nah, ours will be different enough. IIRC you are getting the Cwest lip, you want a spoiler, you can afford the proper Volk wheels, they will be very different Spoiler arrived yesterday cwest lip coming today, gonna dedicate a thread to Big Phil and Andrew at ESR done an amazing job am well chuffed And price was unbelievable, you get so much more than you pay for Agreed. I was simply stunned at the fit of my lip, even just offering it up to the bumper, but you'll have to wait until the weather picks up for those pics Teaser to keep you going, click for larger:

If scaremongering about quality puts you off (re the cracking) pay the extra and get one from Phil. His customer service is second to non so if anything does go wrong you have the piece of mind that he'll sort it
-
Never have been able to find this "duel roam" you mention, do you have a link for it?

Ditto. One of my work office car parks is about 2 mins away from the official car park, I'm going to confirm that they have security 24/7 and if they do I'm more than happy for people to park there
-
Good write up chap! I think I will stick to JTS and Jap Fest again this year for shows as they are bit closer to home and do the Wales drive then! Will confirm with my co-driver and add my name up!

Yes but with this you get the wheels and kit. Its nice, but i dont have the cash right now and i am thinking a different kit altogether right now, well, some Nismo, but some other things too...carbon is my friend. No copying me punk .... even though I'm really copying Leemik, I saw his car first! Haha, Leemik's is an influence, but will not be the same Good good! Obviously mine wont be the same, but its along the same lines

Wont be able to do 2 trips in April unforunately, and cant decide which to goto
-
Try hunting www.my350z.com , thats what I had to do to get the pics I've posted. They pretty much have every combo under the sun, you just have to find the posts!
-
Ahh plenty of people have all Nismo kits, the key is to get something slightly different, then its worth the extra cash
-
By someone reputable? It doesnt really matter of the cost. its the fit. You can get a cheaper lip but then spend the money you've saved in paying a body shop to make it fit properly! Or get a good one to start with and they dont have to do anything. For that price I'm expecting it to be a good fit All depends on who its from and if you trust them I'm sure Adam offered me a proper Nismo US lip add on for about that price, give him, big phil and the other traders a shout and see what they can do.
