  1. Well, I'll get to the back of the queue then EDIT: Realised I should have put a price, I'd go for around £500 inc delivery
  2. Are you serious Why didnt I try that route.. wanna sell yours? You donkey
  3. Bronzee Blue Lady Trust you to know them all, bet you know all their measurements too!
  4. +1 - but the cost for me to get from my 53 to an 07 would be enough for coilovers, exhaust, intake and remap and big brake kit, and probably the rest of the body kit I want. Given, my car will have a lot more miles and be worth a lot less than an 07, but I bet it would drive better on a track
  5. That would be my guess, but I'm by no means a mechanic
  6. You want to be careful just adding fat tyres to the Zed and what it might do to the handling. Remember Porkers have big fat rear tyres cos they need the extra grip with the engine hanging out the back. How much do these weigh? Last thing I'd want to do is add something detremental to the performance
  7. You missed out that I'd say you could shut me up and buy them for me, but while you're buying them, you may as well get me some proper Volk LE37 TA's
  8. Ooops Try 20-30 MPG if my touchtyping works right
  9. I get anywhere between 20-20MPG depending if I am just commuting to work or if I'm getting to have a play
  10. Not cos of car, but cos you look like John Barnes alittle tubby one
  11. +1 - my mate was taking loads of photos of them and couldnt understand why I didnt want to! Was a good show though, didnt have time to say hi to TDi in the end which was a shame, always good to meet the traders. Very nearly bought a Cusco strut bar, but refrained myself to put the money towards new wheels
  12. Get out my thread J/K buddy, looks good, but I've been told in no uncertain terms that a CF bonnet is not going on my car, and I like my dangly bits enough not to go againt that
  13. I need to do the bedding in procedure again. Where I live I come straight off a dual carridgeway and 100yrds to my drive. Where I havent been letting the brakes cool enough, I've then put the handbrake on and where the resin in the pads is still hot, its bound to my disc leaving a little resin behind, which is what I can feel at high speeds. Doing the bedding in procedure again will get the resin off and then I need to let the brakes cool properly (i.e. no hooning off the dual caridgeway onto my drive!) before putting the handbrake on
  14. I was thinking that, but will probably keep them for track wheels
  15. Ah maaaan this gets harder! Yeah he crashed it but the wheels are nice! Not sure what combo this is though, it looks to dark to be silver and polished lip that they do, looks more like gunmetal and polished lip
  16. I'm leaving Blasingsmoke at 10am, so should be up B'ham way at mid day. Sound good?
  17. Really? pm'd Hmmmmmm ..... I have a passenger with me, not sure we can all fit in the G? +2 Unless he also has a G ... wagon
  18. He was a sodding brit I think! None of us had the inclination to get too close to him incase we went blind. The Monky Hanging is known the world over. Im proud! We were told Frenchmen were Short, Hairy, Smelly, and didnt speak English..... ....so I reckon we had the right idea! I just googled that, what a legend
  19. By someone reputable? It doesnt really matter of the cost. its the fit. You can get a cheaper lip but then spend the money you've saved in paying a body shop to make it fit properly! Or get a good one to start with and they dont have to do anything. For that price I'm expecting it to be a good fit All depends on who its from and if you trust them I'm sure Adam offered me a proper Nismo US lip add on for about that price, give him, big phil and the other traders a shout and see what they can do. i more than trust the guy, i nearly bought his companys supra demo car if it really doesnt fit i'll give it back. will be doing the prep and paint myself so it doesnt really matter that much about fit, as long as it fits eventually. i understand adam could get me a genuine front lip, but for the same price as just a nismo front i can have the full kit. In that case go for the cheap one. If all it costs is your time to prep it, its a well made saving, wish I had the chance to prep and paint stuff, would save me a fortune Was more of a warning to others about cheap kits, although they look like a good deal, most of the time you end up spending more on getting it to fit properly than the kit itself!
  20. woah whats the deal with the exhaust Bet those tips ended up nice and blue at the end of that session!! Nice Thats a proper breaking/bedding in right there
  21. I think what a lot of past Zed owners now realise, is that although their new cars are better, for the price the Zed is awesome and holds it own with some very formidable competition. Just look at Sarnie's TG lap, the cars hes running with are wayyyyy more than a Zed. Plus we have a good community which I feel Lambo's are lacking otherwise Sarnie wouldmt be here as much
  22. Not sure yet, PM'd Phil to find out. I've seen them for less than £1k with tyres, albeit very cheap and crap tyres or £800 on their own. Hoping Phil can do a very competitive package with tyres for me. I'm thinking of doing splash guards as a short term solution to balance out my front lip then nismo skirts when I have the money
  23. He was at £850 last time I saw him post a price. Remember that is with a full UK backed guarentee, so well worth the extra little bit
