  1. Then we'd have overlap between the two, good reason to have 2 calendars up at once
  2. I beleive the JDM lenses are clear, but are changed to have a fog lamp as part of the SVA changes. JDM Performance do chrome ones for £75 (I presume each?) http://www.jdmperformance.co.uk/item_de ... =449006818 or http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/03-06-Ni ... enameZWDVW
  3. I had the same thought and I think you would have to remove the bumper. Wouldnt have thought it was a massive job, just effort getting the light unit and a bulb in the right fitting that is silver and lights up red
  4. These ones from JDM Performance: http://www.jdmperformance.co.uk/item_de ... =449002189 Updated original post with link
  5. This how to explains how to get to the rear indicators so that you can change them for much nicer looking silver alternatives Required tools - Small flat head screw driver - 10mm socket - Tissue(s) - 2x T20 silver bulbs (Here from JDM Performance) Repeat the same for both sides. 1. Remove the 3 dust caps on the headlight with the small flat head screwdriver and remove the 3 bolts that they uncover with a 10mm socket. 2. Starting at the rear of the light, pull it away from the body. The first of the two clips holding the light in place will pop. Next work your way towards the front of the car and pull the headlght out and back to pop the second clip. Clip locations highlighted below. Place the headlight in the boot, no need to unclip the cable. 3. Remove the current indicator bulb by twisting the housing of the bulb. Pop out the current bulb and put in the new one. Do not touch the new bulb with bare hands, use a tissue to ensure no greasy finger prints are left on the silver finish. 4. Refit the bulb holder and test the light. 5. Refit the tail light by first placing the front of the 2 clips in place and then swing the unit towards the back of the car and pop the second of the clips in. Replace the bolds and dust caps and you're done Before: After:
  6. i like your thinking sarnie but tein are too hard from what ive heard and eibach (however you spell it) are a good in-between as for the zorst arent i looking at £1k for a Nismo job? Phil can sort you out a Nismo for about £850
  7. Prices are going up the more people that ask him
  8. If you have the BOSE system then yes, you use the micra harness to save cutting into your own HU harness. As you say, the PAC-ROEM has no harness as its a generic unit so you need to splice the wires into the corresponding micra harness. Whats the new HU you are installing? On the PAC-ROEM it tells you which power outputs to use for Hi/Low. I have a 50w per channel HU and use the Hi wires on the PAC-ROEM and it works fine. I suggest you search PAC-ROEM on here as there are more posts from me and the others on installing it Typically your wiring will be like this: New HU -- Micra Harness -- PAC-ROEM-- BOSE Amp (via OEM wiring connector that used to plug into the BOSE HU)
  9. This was put up in late December http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... 43&start=0 And Sarnie was interested Yeah this was up a while ago. I bid £18100 on it but got outbid at the end. Looks like the sale fell through......... Make him an offer rather then bid. If he knows you from here he'll be more inclined to accept. +1
  10. Glad to hear the car is back. Things I would do now: Complain to West Way Cov. about crap customer service. You can probably push them into a free service. I pestered West Way Basingstoke about crap service and they did my next server (P3) for free. Its an easy win for you. Also complain to Nissan GB. Not sure what you'll get back off them, as the problem has been sorted for free, but worth a punt to see what you can get.
  11. How many manufacturers use CAI's? It's all done to a budget and for the masses. That's why we change it when we get it! And in normal driving there isnt much use of NOS either
  12. IIRC they are the official UK tuner for UTEC Couldn't find it mentioned on their website Scrub that, it is there Anyone, on here had a Z-UTEC done with Thor? My bad, they are a distributor. A certain Removed looked into using them and they seemed legit EDIT: Thought I had read that, but couldnt find it, only posts from the Removed about using them
  13. IIRC they are the official UK tuner for UTEC
  14. Phil: you may want to put a disclaimer in here before Jay destroys his Zed stating its not your fault
  15. 5800 then 1700 how about just get a UTEC on my car as it stands now, with nismo exhaust plenum cat and pop charger, surely that must get me to 320 alone? Surley wouldnt be as high as 320? I've heard numbers being bounded around of ~50BHP for UTECH, plenum spacer, cats and exhaust, so its not far off.
  16. Good list Add to that a bunch of detailing products and you're away. I'd drop the cats in favour of coilovers, but other than that, I'd agree
  17. Nope, but it would be good for us The fact that I can get brand new rear lights cheaper than he is selling them for means that he is not charging a fair price
  18. +1 - need to get them from a scrapper who doesnt know what a 350z is and will do em cheap
  19. Full write-up would be good
  20. Last set just went out 10 mins ago more due in next week. Dude did you see my PM? Whoops, just answered. Cheers buddy, Its only that much!!! What you upto? No point getting parts for a car you dont have, you may as well send them to me
  21. Im just surprised TDi think a spacer doesn't do anything, no gains or losses. A spacer changes the area in the Plenum so i would have thought it would have done something, even if it was just a small gain or loss in a particular area. All i can put it down to is that the ones TDi have done have all been on the standard ecu's.. Even on stock ECU its meant to do something
