    Side Skirts

The copies Phil has shown me before were very good quality. He will only source you the best quality and fit kit as its what his reputation is built on. He could no doubt get you £150 sides, but the reason he doesnt is that its not up to par
  2. will do Chris, come with red led bulb
  3. Ah but who did he speak to, we all had silver like (silver and GM) Zeds there
  4. I hear those are excellent I also fear a mod will be in here shortly to tidy up this mess
  5. But a drag car will probably be set up to run the size of tyres it does. The zed is set up to run under specific parameters. First of all its recommended to run the same aspect ratio eg 45 or 35 etc front and back. The width of the tyres are supposed to be within a certain percentage of each other too eg 225 front and 245 rear or 245 front and 275 rear etc. I don't know the exact science to it like others on here but the principles sound. (I think ) The ESP is constanlty measuring the levels of grip and cutting in accordingly. When the dimesions are out the ESP can't figure it out so it goes a bit mental. Different tyres dimensions front and back and different grip levels will throw the ESP light. Basically, you need tyres 245/35/19 front and 275/35/19 rear to keep the ESP within the parameters its expecting. Your zed will be struggling at the moment due to the tyres and also the icy roads we have at the moment. You could tootl around at 25 mph and the ESP won't come on but as soon as you try to floor it............. Why do you need to keep the profile the same front and rear? All the car cares about is the rolling radius of the tyres. It thinks it has a certain radius on the tyre and if one seems to spin faster than the other, TC will cut in. As long as the rolling radius of the new and old tyre is nearly the same, TC wont notice the difference whether the new is a lower profile than the old.
  6. Are we talking about zedrush jay? Have we got you worried? The guy that is doing your car was at the meet yesterday and telling us all about it. Said the clutch is shot too cos of your granny shifting

  12. Haha yeah guess so. I want to try and get more people into 1/10 scale drifitng, its good fun. Hopefully if it takes off, we could have a few comps at the Reading meets HPI Sprint 2 Drift is what I have. Already ordered loads of parts for it, locked up the rear diff, fittied new tyres, just waiting on some more bits and bobs for it and I'll post up a thread about it [/url]

  18. Remember its not all about the power figures, its how it delivers it. Sure a big ass turbo will get you more power, but it may not be as willing to rev freely or be as responsive. It depends what you are after. Personally I'd love to try a car like Adams and a turbo'd car with the same money invested in them to see how they handled differently
  19. +1 - thats what I was thinking from the start except for the boss bit
  20. Your the new sl114. Name down for everything, turn up to nothing. Unless its at Bluewater 1.2 miles away from your house. Dude I always put maybe, try my best but sometime commitment says otherwise Make a commitement to us instead Amanda wanted to go see some show that Sunday, but she's been told Wales run is booked and we aint missing it
  21. I didnt do anything, the car was already linked to earlier in the thread, I just added a pic from the site
  22. Exactly what I'm doing, coming from Blazingsmoke it will be nice to get away! Will be going out and taking piccies of the countryside and the Zed in the countryside When you think about how much juice this drive is gonna cost people become reluctant..... Trust me this drive is a Sunday you'll never forget +1 Yes it does cost alot in juice money, but well worth it just to see people's jaw's dropping I'll just add a few miles here and there to my monthly expeses, its fine How many miles is the drive out usually or should that be how many tanks?
