  1. See above, if you want anything other than speed and revs then it looks like you need another unit. So if you want any temps/pressures you need the Defi-Link Control box
  2. Quick googly bash Reading about it, you can get speed and revs with the HU display alone, but to get anything else you need the Defi-Link Control Unit
  3. didnt know a control box is needed too, if this is the case then think you are 100% right not worth it for a bit of flash gizmo. Ill ask lloyd as think he has had one fitted and will report back later today, to see if worth going through or not Things may have changed since I saw this guys Defi unit, but my mate wanted on at the time and the HU display is just that, it takes data from the control box and shows it on the screen. Its the control box that does all the work of reading pressures, temps etc. I'll bang my mate an email, and a search on the MLR

    Big Box!

Wont be no custard creams, I had them all at Christmas
  5. PMSL His dad is a legend lol, how can you do that to your own kid and whats worse he posted it up in public class, a b@stard but class +1
  6. Jay prepare for a bit outlay if you just want the HU display. From what I've seen on a chaps Evo at the Reading meet, you not only need the HU display but also a control box which is normally used to control the other usual pod gauges, and then I think you also need wiring kits. Apparently its not worth it if all you want is HU display unless you have money to burn My mate with his Evo looked into it, I can get prices and details if you want
  7. +1 - but then again I can seen Laim's point and the cars you guys drive, is another £90 really that much to save the hassle? Personally I would certainly follow it up though
  8. Hey nice hotel and a great price, and best of all no speed humps and gym too... looks like thats where Im booking, cheers, I wont get in your way promise I'm trying to book there but their website is fubared! I've sent them a friendly email. I sense a photoshoot out the front coming on
  9. Not from next week Christ man, you'll be announcing your retirement soon
  10. I think we should jump onto the Z Club stand if its OK with everyone else? Sounds good to me
  11. If it wernt sold you could of had seats and steering wheel too Sweet, so i could sit in my front room on the seat, steering wheel in hand with the bumper up front and the side skirts around me? BURM BURM Meep meep Oh dear god, hes finally snapped
  12. Well if you are I'm the same, just dont trust it. My cars have always been left outside on the drive and have always been fine. Used a cover a few time on my bike and it scratched it lightly. Now I just keep it under a loose fitting dust sheet.
  13. Darn , no one told me that , I guess i should sell it then Get your name down for Wales Holly and sock it to em. +1 Amanda will no doubt drive my car for a bit so I can snap some photies on the move
  14. Sounds pretty terminal mate, with 9 points already, they aint going to give you the option of the course. I know you dont want to hear it but with 9 points you should have been driving like a granny in residential areas.
  15. You aint on Phils high roller list if you still pay with paypal, highrollers use direct bank transfer
  16. If the build is finished it unlikely you can do anything from those kinds of houses I have seen before. The difference over a normal garage is that the side pillars of the garage door are probably a lot more load bearing than usual, so if you cut some away it might not be able to bear the load
  17. +1 - I wont do a car cover as I'm more likely to do bad than good with them with the filth from the M4 on it!!!! Also I dont garage mine even though it fits as the garage entrance angle is quite tight, I'd rather leave it outside than damage it putting it in, after all it sits in a car park all day at work!!
  18. +1 So those who have not yet got their name's down for Wales kindly do so please. +1
  19. Was just googling for "UK Standard garage door size" and got this: Builders being builders they couldnt get anything bigger and so stuck in the smaller ones!
  20. Me and the missus viewd a house like this, but they were car ports rather than garages (i.e. no doors) and the openings were very narrow, not sure a Zed would have gone in. Saying that, every other garage I have tried (our new one, my old dears old one, mates one) the Zed fits. You must have very narrow doors. Get em measured and post it up, I'll see what thats like against mine when I get home
  21. That's a long way to go just for free tea and biccies - you sure you not going to finalize terms for a Dartford franchise of East Shore Racing nope, just going to get some brake pads and change callipers Nah, ESR Southern Division is going to be headed up in Basingstoke, nice and central and easy to get to from M4/M3
  22. Usually its because they all overlap, so you have to go right back to the first piece that doesnt overlap anything Taking the rear apart to sound deaden it was an interesting adventure for me!
  23. and copper grease easy job as rob says +1 - I got Nissan to do mine and after a wheel nut falling off recently, I wont trust them with the job again, I'll be doing it myself
  24. Well done matey, I hear this is good to have if you want to be a PM. Quite a few people I work with have done this and they tried to get me to do it but I'm not interested in being PM, and it was too much effort for a qualification that I'd likely never use.
