  1. is that what the lens is supplied with phil ? It is now. *cough* PM *cough* (Sorry I'm a pain in the ass )
  2. Nice one mate, time for a TT conversions :teeth:
  3. Ask him what address at Vodafone and you'll happily send it there for him. Yeah, saves him some postage
  4. OK, scrap that, I was just drying the car after a quick sprouse up, and the heavens opened! Dont think its going to happen today.
  5. Right, well what do you guys think about today? The weather atm looks pretty reasonable, but its meant to change. I'm going up with my missus and a mate and his missus so will probably be best if we meet in the car park as to be fair to my mate, he doesnt want to trash to Reading just to meet 2 more cars. What time were people thinking of heading up? Gates open at 10, I think we were planning on going for around 11am. Will probably only have a quick look around and head back to catch the majority of the F1 if the weather doesnt look too good. Whats other peoples plans?
  6. Looking good Jay. I can see why Phil hasnt replied to my PM now, you've been keeping him very busy!!! Can't wait to see it all in the flesh at Wales
  7. Ok, so I was bored this morning so did a little photoshop work. Left to right we have the original LED bulb, a SMD LED bulb (30 SMD LEDs on it), and finally the high output LED bulb (with circa 10 high output LEDs). As you can see the original is good but the output is in the wrong direction. The next one is a lot better, but just pipped to the post by the high output LED one I linked to in the previous post. You cant really make out the intensity, but all images were taken on the same camera settings hence why the brighter ones look more washed out and less red. In reailty it is very bright red. HTH
  8. Bump for update in previous post to where I got the LED bulb on ebay and pics
  9. From fitting mine the bulb isnt anywhere near as bright as before, but its more to do with the angle of the bulb than the bulb itself. If Phil is still doing them with the LED bulb I got, then it has a matrix of LEDs on one face and that points out to the side of the car. However, I did find an ebay chap who did ultrabright LED bulbs with high intensity output bulbs. They're about 8 quid and fantastic. At least 2x as bright as the orginal LED bulb and much closer to OEM. I have pics somewhere, but not on photobucket, I'll get them up at some point. These are the ones I went for in the end. Very impressed with them
  10. He speaks the truth, I would have probably had a set if this man hadnt already bankrupt me
  11. Yeah sorry guys been away for work today so havent been able to get on the net. Still waiting to see what the weather is like, the weather man keeps changing his mind. I have been thinking though, if theres only 3 of us, we may as well meet there in the normal car park. Theres plenty of access roads in the park for us to wait on when we get in the main gate, so I suggest we exchange mobile numbers tomorrow and then meet in the main car park or near by
  12. Its the same on all 3 Zeds I have driven. The self cancel is pants, just get used to cancelling it manually
  13. Good stuff. Any eta on when you plan to do it? Might hold off til we see the results
  14. He's got more than that, check his sig, he has Adam, Richie and Nemesis too
  15. But they do tend to rattle. I had a Leon FR and after only 20k miles it started to rattle. Dont know if VW are any better but the old ladies A4 has 80+k miles and no rattles yet, so much better built.
  16. The bolts dont screw into anything, they have an expanding bit on the end which you poke into the hole, it exands and kindof holds itself in place. God knows where you get replacements?!
  17. Noooooo! We promise we'll get the stingers out to slow down Jay! You can still send deliveries out right?
  18. Yup http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... hlight=710
  19. Remember the boy that cried wolf Jay, taking the mic will only result in you getting no help if you get lost in Wales
  20. Agree the window labels will be a good idea. Ones I have seen previously on doing convoys were quite big (read: A4). Are we planning on having big ones or just duplicates of the name stickers?
