  1. Coming from a 4WD/FWD car, no offence, but you probably need to learn some throttle finesse. As the others have said, with 4WD you can drive with a lead foot and the car will stay on the road. With a RWD car you will spin up the rear and wrap it around a tree. Learn that throttle finesse and you'll be steering with the rear wheels in no time and having much more fun than those boring 4WD boys
  2. Mmmm chilli red Fancy a swap for a GM with 50k on the clock
  3. What fun you must have had! I didnt make it, poop hit the fan at work and I was doing some overtime. Still it paid double time, so I cant complain too much!

    Brembo's

Speak to a trader (Phil@ESR, Kev/Gav@Envy, Adam@Z1). I think this has been covered before, but cant remember the outcome.
  5. I acutally burst out laughing!
  6. Fortunately atm I am the opposite way around... Price of fuel goes up, price of bread goes up, my wages go up more than the price of fuel and bread, price of fuel goes up. But only for now, not sure how much longer I can keep it up
  7. 568bhp and 630lb ft torque THere is a reason this is called the Daddy wagon
  8. Looks excellent Agree with Mike though the weave needs to be the same way as the tailgate and the b-pillar covers
  9. I think all 350z have variable valve timing, which in theory means they can use higher octane fuel, however the standard ECU is probably not mapped for it. So you are correct, if you put in higher than 98RON it wont do anything. Less will me timing retardation (think thats what its called) and a slight loss of power.
  10. I was planning on it but think I'm now busy. Might be able to hatch a plan though
  11. To be fair we knew the guy wouldnt be any good on the ground and since Brett is a seasonal submission wrestler to a very high level it would of been pointless for him to take it to the ground, as he wouldnt have learnt anything, so the game plan was to keep it standing and beat the guy at his own game. A dangerous decision, but one that we learnt alot from, he has K.O power Guess Brett always had the fall back plan of taking him to the ground too if it didnt go his way

    3M tape....

Thats assuming you never want to take it off
  13. Mine just passed 50k this weekend, and still pulling strong
  14. I've been running Tesco 99RON since it came to the Basingstoke store. They are far cheaper than anyone in our area and 99RON has to be better than 95RON for power and fuel economy
  15. Nice one matey. When I was training in TKD I always said it was open to someone just steaming in and walloping you. Thats why I cross training in BJJ with my housemate (an unofficial sharing of techniques) as it makes for a more balanced array of moves. How much ground work does Thai boxing involve? I'm guessing not a lot? In which case you should just take him to the ground an pummel him, which I'm guessing is what your man did
  16. Pug drivers dont care about handling, its crap to start with
  17. I wouldnt trust some no name exhaust from ebay. Get a K1 from Phil, or look for something like the Scorpion (~£330) if you just want a different sound. Performance gain with no mods and no ECU fiddling will be naff all anyway, its all for the sound.
  18. Congrats mate, thats great news. Get the lambo now cos once the little on is here you'll have no chance! Then keep it saying when the nipper is 18 it will be a classic car for their birthday
  19. These are cracking lines for anyone looking to get some SS lines. I have some on my R6 and they near thew me off the front when I first grabbed a handful of brake after fitting them! Feel is much improved on the bike too.
  20. We're both right Rays as above and non-Rays 8" all round. People will soon learn we're always right

    Brake fluid

Both brake cleaner and brake fluid I have ever used states not to get it on paint. In the case of DOT fluid you can (if you are quick) get water on it and this supposidly neutralises the effects. Not sure if the same is true of brake cleaner. Either way, they have messed up your wheels, so accept nothing less than a full refubishment.
  22. I did ask and its his Dad that made it. He said to make it worth while though he would have to charge about £300 to get the rack, fabricate the bits, powdercoat it. Thats 3x what I paid for it, and for me it would be too much to pay. If you'd be happy to pay that then I can pass on your details and see what he says. Um, in a word... no I don't need a rack that badly yet Thought that would be the case If you can find yourself a fabricator, you can get the rack from Halfords for £90ish and then get them to weld up the supports. I can send you pics and dimensions if you do.
