  1. Get a plenum spacer for the performance then get a pop charger for the noise
  2. Yup, I might be spying them up to get some as a pressie for myself for my birthday
  3. That sounds more like it. TDi are a very reputable company too
  4. Deatils? All other "remapers" we have seen claimed for cheaper, then suddenly cant do them when asked to do so. There have been quite a few generic mapping companies that claim to do all cars which suddenly cant provide proof of doing one or being able to do one when asked.
  5. As the others have said, PayPal isnt the best for larger transactions. Get a bankers draft or cheque and wait for it to clear. I only use PP for small transactions as you cant afford for them to raise a dispute and your money to be gone!
  6. And as Chris didnt notice, welcome to the forum Bud. Stick a post up in the intro section
  7. Cheers Martin Still working though. GTR arrives in the country on 8th Oct and then off for the SVA and on the road for 20th Oct, 3 weeks today So when are you needing me to come down to shoot it?? Adam We will be in touch, planning an open day shortly after its arrival so everyone can have a look and a ride. Might be time for another xmas visit
  8. You need to move up north then matey! It seems everyone is based up that way
  9. There would be gains to be had from a remap, but not very much bang for buck wise. You might get an extra 10-20BHP (intake, spacer, exhaust) and upto say 40BHP with all the mods (intake, exhaust, cats, plenum spacer, possible cams, headers, etc), but with a remap weighing in at £1200-1500 (piggybag ECU and mapping), its not a lot, especially if all you have is intake, spacer, cats and exhuast, as the only real performace booster there is the spacer.
  10. Bang on Alex, exactly 10kgs. I just weighed my replacement OEM bonnet for the 2002-2006 that's waiting to go onto my Z. Blimey, I knew they were alu and light, but not that light! Can see why a CF one doesnt come in much (if any) lighter! No supprise then that they chip easily, part of the weight saving is probably less paint!
  11. The Zeds speed is very deceptive due to the superbly linear power delivery. Keep an eye on the speedo, so you might be going quicker than you think! Its certainly chalk and cheese compared to a Vtec, but I'm sure you'll like the change when you get used to it
  12. Its the second Tues or there abouts each month? I had a thread with the dates on. EDIT: here ya go http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... 785#162785
  13. I would like some orange 350z slippers - do you have any? no problem Nixy, a tad ostentatious for everyday wear though
  14. This is the old style plate, so you can put it on
  15. Its in the right hand corner Ill be here till i'm 77 apparantly - in that case 90 for me too
  16. Hope you're not doing this all on your phone while pushing boats Martin!

    window

If its sealing properly now that you have hit the up switch (ie looks about right, no excess noise at speed), I'd just leave it. IIRC the window reset requires you to take off the door card and fiddle a bit, so not worth the hassle unless it is obviously not all the way up

    window

Nix: Are you sure you didnt just lean on it a little when the door was open? I have done this before by accident and pushed the window down a little. When you get back in a simple pull of the up switch puts it back in place and its fine. If it doesnt go back to where it needs to then you need to do the window reset.
