  1. Sounds like bearings to me. Where abouts in London are ya? Sure we have some members near where ever you are who can recommend a good garage to get it checked out at.
  2. Hey mate, as I said at Bala, I get this too with my popcharger. I think either my idle needs adjusting up a bit or as the others have said, needs a scoop. Will be interesting to see how you get on Mine is fine when cold, but the idle is too low when warm.
  3. Drop me a PM with your email and I'll get it sent over
  4. Indeed, I have the jasperg's one. He sold it to me after he had sold the Zed. Its a modified halfords tow bar rack that mounts to the Zed towing eye. It has 2 legs coming from the tow bar mount that wrap around under the bumper to stabalise it. Cracking bit of kit, but unfortuantely a one off. If you find yourself a fabricator to do some welding, I'd be more than happy to send you pics and measurements of it if you wanted to copy it. Can also help with getting a lighting board wired up too as I had to do this as it blocks the numberplate and lights too much for my liking. All the other racks I have seen mentioned look very flimsey so never got one.
  5. +1 H5 said "Calendar entry made' date=' royalties payable to Chris and Amanda!" Got the wrong pic mate (OK so the entry is your car but the groupie one is better )[/quote'] No I got the right pic (for me!) Might have a better one around here, havent been though all the ones Amanda took of ya car, so I reserve the right to chage your pics as and when a better one crops up
  6. +1 H5 said "Calendar entry made' date=' royalties payable to Chris and Amanda!" Got the wrong pic mate (OK so the entry is your car but the groupie one is better )[/quote'] Not sure we could make the group one work, not the right aspect for a calendar. I'm honoured you think its good enough though. Does need a bit of photochopping around Dru's car (sorry dont know who the next Sunset down one belongs to), but its too early for that much effort
  7. They were battering about a bit in the wind, and we all know how soft Nissan paint is Good excuse for a proper detail now though!
  8. Heres a select few of mine. Notice no bins, thank god for photoshop Tried to post a few different ones, more natural and less posed as you will get much better posed shots from the pro photographer Mike after Stan the skirt lifter Dru and Stan have the new Red Bull option - gives you wings Mike still after Stan, now with his backup Mike: I'll stick them all on photobucket at some point and if you want any full sized images, just drop me the filename and I'll sort them out for ya
  9. Well heres a few of mine. Tried to keep them to the better ones to keep down the numbers
  10. Skirt lifter Congrats Mike and Becs, hope you had a wonderful day, we had good fun getting our Zeds shot More to come tomorrow,.....
  11. Well what a day, and weekend! Got loads of pics (well Amanda got more!), will post them up tomorrow. Sorry I had to break the bad news this morning and hold up the convoy, but ddnt think you'd like to park in the lake! Good substitute car park we found though. Was excellent to do the Evo triangle at full speed, even managed to keep up a good convoy all the way round, well done to Beavis for ushering us all around Rob - Amanda took just a "few" pics of your car on the way back, think I'll have to stick em on CD for ya
  12. Yeah, i learned a lot doing the claying. Did cause a few minor scratches here and there, you need to control yourself and not start taking big swipes! I was using the Bilt Hamber bar with water, must be an expensive job using QD with other bars. TBH the scratches will have been caused by using just water. You need the lubricants that are in QD or similar. If you dont want to use DQ, use car shampoo mixed with water. You need to keep the body wet and lubed so not to scratch it. Lesson learnt
  13. Sorry I confused the thread with talk of the PC version of the sat nav. You get the proper version of the software on this I think, not a hacked version of a PC demo like I have on my car pc
  14. Did you give Phils beer money to the weather man? Mike would obviously prefer that window in the weather tomorrow!
  15. Yup, posted before, but I think there were some new pics in there
  16. Nice one. You will find the first time you do it fully it takes ages, but from then on, things like clay takes less time as you dont have half as much crap to remove. Should be a lot easier to do next time!
  17. +1 Only a handful of us completed the correct route last time. Got me better Sat nav this time, go the whole route down to a T (well from Bala onwards anyway ). No more bloody destinator telling me to go the wrong way. Hope nurrish turns up i want to look at his set up. He was the one that got me to change my nav software. I have the PC version of iGo 8 now and its sooo much better

  19. Doesnt the filter live in the box? In that case you wont get hydrolock as air will come in the box rather than the water up the tube. Other CAI are more prone as the filter itself actually sits in the bumper. Should be ok in this case
