How can they run a garage and not have biccies? Its a staple diet for a mechanic, tea and biccies. Maybe its a northern thing Strange as it may seem these mechanics Work! they are always busy, barely have time to drink tea no matter about eating biccies! I came across something similar on a page for the skunk 2 plenum spacer saying that it comes with "the hardware needed to bypass the water lines that heat the throttle body." Does this ring any bells for anyone who has installed a plenum spacer? I didnt have the valve installed when it was done at Phils, so dont know if it was for the TB or not, sorry

I remember the MotorDyne plenum spacer install mentioned something about a heater bypass valve. Not sure if its for the plenum or TB, might be worth a seach on their site.

On the older models, the back half of the box was removable. This is what they did to fit the Nav. So you'd have the front half of the box and the lid. Sounds like yours is all in one? When they fit the OEM nav to an 06 did that have a lid or was that the one with no lid? If it didnt have a lid, that might be why yours comes out as one, as it either had the full box or nothing, never the cubby with the back off. If that makes sense?

Before my Dad passed away, he lost his voice box because of a laryngectomy, but could still speak in a way, and it did make our relationship difficult, so I can only imagine what you are going through. Keep up though, as Nate says, Doctors have been proved wrong many times before, you never know what tomorrow will bring.

DS2500 are a safe bet. Lots of happy users. Only Sarnie moans about them squealing, but I dont think he broke them in properly. I didnt at first and mine sqealed but they are fine now Dixcel are meant to be good and we have a couple of users with them (Adrian and Stew IIRC), but not as much feedback yet as something like the established DS2500.

Thats my plan. Maybe not a demo unless its a cracking deal as it will have been thrashed

Redstuff will be fine if you stay away from hardcore track sessions. I think you will only destroy them if they get majorly overheated. TBH I dont think my DS2500 get enough rough treatment for me to get the best out of them as they never get hot enough normal driving so the pad material wears off the disc. Redstuff would probably be better if you do mainly road driving.

Only problem with staying thin on the front and wide on the rear is that you will get more understeer. Depends how you like the car balance to feel really.

They dont say how well they ride, just that they look good. To me that seems too wide, but if you can get away with it why not! Be a trend setter. Let us know how it handles

I concur with Alex, somewhere between £300-400 is to be expected. You may want to Paintshield it then which would be another couple of hundred I think.

Oh, I'm not so blessed as to have a wide door. Its "normal" size (reading up when I got the house, apparently there is no standard size for doors!), so still scared to take off the wingmirrors every time I go in there. Just once in there is quite a bit of room to move. I managed to machine polish it in there without too much bother. Sides were a bit close though
