  1. Does anyone know if our engine can even take advantage of 102RON fuel? I seem to remember seeing a post somewhere which explained the different RONs that different Zeds (UK, JDM, USDM) could handle and I think 101RON was the highest the UK could go. Would still give some advantage over 99RON, but not as much as the extra cost of the stuff!
  2. Can you change the boat name? If so we should all have 350z-uk in out names

Looking good matey! Does this just display the OBDII stats at the moment, or does it manage to tie into the proper Nissan CANBUS stats? I find my OBDII stats a bit lacking, sounds like yours has more. Displays certainly look impressive
  4. Congrats bud! Agree with the pics, you're always the first to post it ...
  5. I already asked how I ban you Liam, but apparently there is a large waiting list of Mods looking for a reason already, so I think I'm out of luck
  6. JTS would be the only one I'm likely to attend
  7. A decent moderator would have corrected my post instead of just mocking me I guess its just a self charging Prius with the engine and motor running at the same time then Why would I do that. I act in the best interests of the forum, and in this case it was funny so who am I do deny the forum of some chuckles Back to being serious, I'm not sure we'll see this stuff at the start of the season. Evo were saying the kit weighs about 60KG which costs them naught point something of a lap and they were not sure if it was worth it. I guess if your car is quick enough to stay at teh front, why weigh it down Might see it if the cars are competitive though
  8. Indeedy. Most places who use "generic mapping" processes dont realise that the Zed ECU is a whole can of worms. As the others have said not many places can really tune them when interrogated. Shouldnt be too hard to find out if they are any good, a few ample questions should sniff out a rat. Things like expected gains, previous customers dyno prints, what they use to tune it etc. Most fail to answer these and then no one here uses them
  9. Its in the service manual, download around here somewhere, someone will have the link. From what I remember its a case of undoing the sun visors, and popping a screw or 2. Then you have to rotate the whole lot 90deg and slide it out the boot.
  10. Get back here Mac! How did you get in front of me
  11. Curds Look in this months Evo, its all explained in there Apparently one technician has already been electricuted by a "live" car
  12. They have it at Bedford Autodrome IIRC, but it was about £1.20 a litre!
  13. Stick the GPS under the strut brace plastic. Best place for it, good reception and hidden. If you pull off one of the top pieces to the side of the silver central strut, you will see a nice place to stick it. Also take the top cover off the GPS puck to get better reception still How are you powering the PC? I suggest running a cable direct from the battery. There is a hole in the firewall behind the battery, straight into the passenger footwell. Can run it down the passenger sill to the rear cubby nice and easy
  14. You need at least a tank full of the new stuff for the ECU to adapt properly I saw a decent increase in MPG swapping to Tesco 99RON over any other supermarket stuff. Made the price difference a non-issue
  15. Thanks chaps. No benefits to speak of, just get the pleasure of keeping this place going
  16. I'm convoying it up with my mate from MLR at 7pm, so depending on "traffic" we will be there at 7:30pm.
  17. I added you too "The Fairlady 2"
  18. Tidied Zedrush's quote And yes that is the one. They do not allow linking to this site so we mirror the policy. There are many people who are on both forums and we welcome members from "the other side" with open arms
  19. there goes their budget for the year LOL yeah! Make sure you do get a claim in, make those little scroats pay! It aint gonna be cheap!
  20. We made that mistake last time I was there and ended up being about 30ft from the action
  21. Nice work bud Have you thought about using RGB LEDs in the lights? Wouldnt have to have half on and half off then
  22. Its going back to the Repair place for a paint specialist to look at it. The old boy on the phone didnt seem to know what I was ranting about! Was going to go today, but they've said it has to be before 3pm as the guy goes home early Only good thing is they really dont have a leg to stand on, so it will be sorted
  23. Aye, off into the Doldrums, might be there a while
