  1. I certainly wouldn't envy the task of doing it Mark. I don't think it'd be straight forward on your car at all. +1 Might have been an idea to get it done when you had the kit fitted IIRC I noticed and told him just after he got it done
  2. I dont think the 320HP is WHP, I think they mean at the fly. Still a big ask to get that much, but it certainly is possible, just needs more mods (cams etc). From a stock car, I think you'd be lucky to see ~300BHP (at the fly) Seriously....can we all agree that flywheel figures are the ones to use for tuning purposes???? I personally wouldnt listen to anyone talking flywheel numbers unless they have their engine ripped out and run on an engine dyno. Its just useless IMO and adds to confusion and bad info when people want to increase their knowledge on the subject of tuning. Correct me if im wrong here! (if it is flywheel figures you want to use....any piggyback tuned properly on a stock car will give you about 30-35hp increase) I agree, WHP is the only true measurement you can take easily. However, even then different dynos will give different values. Add to that the fact that manufacturers use fly figures, you can just say that WHP is the be all and end all. No where will quote Joe Pulbic wheel figures unless Joe Public knows what the stock wheel figure is. Given OEMs quote fly figures, then the tuners have to quote fly figures otherwise it looks like you are losing power! What you can do, is use the same place every time and keep things as consistent as possible. Get a base figure (wheel or fly, doesnt matter as long as they use the same fudge factor every time) and go from there.
  3. With track time if that makes a difference
  4. Well just leaves me the task of removing the fog light unit now then Just rip the bumper off its the easiest way, it might take a bit of time, but its easier in the long run. Plus you can fit one of those hidden reverse sensors in the bumper at the same time
  5. No chance! Mine takes about 20secs atm from hibernation, and I'm always looking to make it quicker! Over a minute would do my nut Yeah i hear what your saying. Kinda sucks cuz i brought the ultra fast ssd and with a monitor attached the system boots in 10 seconds but with the usb monitor attached it takes 1:15!!! but that is from a cold boot just tinkering around with hibernate now.......hopefully i can get it resuming quicker Hopefully it will initialise quicker from hibernation. I think from cold boot mine takes around 45secs, but need to time it. So 1 min isnt that slow so long as it comes out of hibernation quickly

  7. The main problem I found with all these LED bulbs is also the angle that the holder is in relation to the direction you want it to point. A lot of these bulbs point straight out and our bulb is at an angle which means you are left with just the light that reflects off the internal reflector of the unit. You can get high powered LED bulbs which would work, if only we could modify them to point straight out the back rather than off to the side
  8. Just over the way from us at work, there is a build that has just stopped. The cranes they are using arent even being dismantled, my guess is they have no where for them to go so are no wasting the resource in removing them!

    Wider Tyres

Rare Rims are the official UK distrobutor
  11. you ever tinkered with ride runner?? its very customisable but looks tacky shame.. Yup, played with it a few years ago. Very nice in terms of customisation like you say, just it didnt quite hit the nail on the head. Having been a software engineer, I can appreciate its merits, but in the end, the ease of CF won through, even though it does cost money

    HKS CAMP2

Did you have to fiddle with the OBD connector to get it flush chap? The generic OBDII connector I got with my reader had a massive connector on it. Ended up takin git apart and adding a switch to turn it on and off and get it flush so it didnt stick out
  13. Hmm thought they'd fixed it in 2.1, the forums will confirm anyway. I'm finally updating my install to 2.1
  14. :scare::scare: I dont think the footage does that justice! Thats one hell of a distance up and down! RESPECT, that takes some maaaaasive kahunas!
  15. Well the screen is real nice and real responsive.......however it adds about another minute to the bootup time also when i come out of hibernate it lose's its touch screen. Havent tried to problem solve yet....tomorrow i shall get on the case. Yeah I did hear that about the boot up time. Very very strange as it just a USB device at the end of the day On the case of losing the touch screen, what version of CF are you running? There was a problem with it in earlier versions where when it resumed, it didnt pick up the event from windows and didnt accept touch input. I have a resume pluging that sorts it, but on the newest version I beleive they have sorted it. Try heading over to the CF forums and look in the release notes
  16. We went to another pub that the MLR frequent as my mate's missus was at my house with my missis so had to stick together
  17. I have the crystal clear rear bumper lights on mine (from JDM) and L.E.D. fog light and reversing bulbs (from ESR) i fitted them originally to my standard bumper myself by taking it off completely. I didnt find the white clips difficult at all (i must have been lucky!), i used long nose pliers to get in there and twist them loose. Just a word of warning to those that are considering fitting the L.E.D. reversing bulbs when i reverse at night a cant see bugger all! i have to brake and let my L.E.D. rear lights light up the way! Why did you go for LED reversing lights? The normal bulbs are clear so dont detract from the look. I wanted LEDs when I thought they might be brighter, but soon realised they werent.
  18. Thats it without the case buddy....looks real smart with the case one I know, just joshing with ya Hows the screen? Any problems so far?
  19. A Mac Mini looks a lot neater Looking good buddy, if you have any questions then me and Pingu both have built and installed carpc's
  20. The white clips are the devils work! I could it off, but not back on again (I only removed the drivers side of the bumoper). Fortunately, because that old biddy hit me and I got a new bumper, the repair place had to put it back properly. They told me it was the worst type of fitment they'd ever seen
  21. Nice and tight on the roof
  22. Was a wet sand and polish. When he first saw it he said he'd tackle it with 1500 grade and then polish it. Didnt see him afterwards so dont know that was definately what he did, was the owner who dealt with me. I must say their customer service was very good, they were very friendly, just let down that they didnt do it first time around. Will have a proper reccy when I can get the car into our garage and under the halogens to see how good his polishing technique was
