Yeah yours are spot on. The only criticism I have is that if you ran the stock camber you might have problems
  2. Spoke with Mike yesterday (xstric9x) who followed me and said my nismo zorst sounded awsome as he followed me up the Horshoe pass, one thing we have both noted and certainly in my case if you take the zed out on a good run the nismo seems a lot louder at the end of the day than at the beggining I've noticed that too. Definately gets louder and guntier as it warms up. Even at tick over, mine was louder after the dyno run than when I fired her up at the start of the day. Very odd, but sounds good when you go for a good run
  3. No it won't need mapping But if you do fit an induction kit it is well worth resetting the ecu And it will be dialled out before you get through a tank of petrol All breathing mods get dialled out on the Zed. The plenum charger is the only mod that gives a little extra gain. I should know, I had mine on the dyno on Satuday and it got 230WHP (278 @ the crank), and thats with pop charger, plenum spacer and Nismo exhaust. It should be noted that the torque curve put all the Evos I went up with to shame, and the noises was awesome
  4. I questioned this, the salesman said they havent finalised the sateering wheel yet so the infinity one has been fitted to this press car. A bit of a lame excuse if you ask me, Why dont they just put the wheel from the US or JDM 370 in it? Thats a pants excuse, they're just lazy.
  5. The dont work on the Zed. You need to get either a good piggy back ECU or aftermarket ECU if you want to tune the Zed. You will only get about 10% gains though, and its a big outlay, in the region of £1.5k
  6. Because Nissan are cheap and lazy and havent got a proper wheel for it. Dont see why it doesnt have a Nissan badge on it, its been out for ages in Japan and the US. Agree it does look quite big in the pics, is it like that in real life?
  7. I'd be up for that. I was looking at it the other day and looking at how worn my one is. With $5 shipping its a bargin
  8. +1 - can your Dad make them hubcentric and gaurentee that they are spot on symetrical and will sit you wheels spot on central to the hub? If not then you will get judder at high speed and even worse might end up in the wheel falling off!

Stick out the arches you mean? Didnt Sarnie run ET22 or something that stuck out a bit? I think my Rotas are ET25 and they are spot on for me
  10. Doesnt sound good! I dont think the car driver can claim not to have seen them, Goldwings are massive!!! On the flip side though, Goldwings should not be filtering they are about as wide as a car! True though, take it easy in the sun
  11. HEL do carbon look lines, I have them on my R6 Knew they'd be the ones you were after (not sure they match the Varis weave though )
  12. ^^^ what he said. If you are talking about importing one now, then there is no real point, you can get plenty of cars that are already in the UK cheaper. If you are talking about cars already in the country, then do as Andy says and just get the cheapest. Mods I'd be looking at are decent rubber, new suspension, brakes (braided lines, racing fluid, decent pads and discs), ARBs, seats + harnesses, then engine mods and chasis bracing.
  13. I'm curious how the times compare from spec to spec for the standard cars. Mine is a MY'03, so 276 nominal. So how much better do the MY'06 and MY'07 standard cars do on the quarter mile, given the additional power? Anyone generated a table of 1/4 mile times? Too many variables to be entirely accurate however I'm sure the 313 would be a bit quicker. +1 - the 03-05 have more low down torque so would be just as quick as the 06. The 07+ are a new engine., so would be slightly quicker, but its mainly down to the driver. Only having the same driver doing all 3 would prove anything, and even then it would take loads of runs to get a realistic average. In the real world, there is no real difference.
  14. Yeah, that fixes to where one of the metal blocks does in the OEM kit. Just get them bought man, and some Motul RBF600, job done
  15. It replaces each side with a single line, much better than Nissans multiple ones. The Goodridge ones I have replace the Nissan ones like for like, and I think the HEL ones are a better design
  16. Nice work. You hands must feel like they are still vibrating from the polisher. Sounds like you had a right bag of trouble with that paint! I cant comment on the stuff polished bliss do, but DD SN looks absoutely amazing on my GM Zed. I know I bang on about it all the time, but the difference to P21S was outstanding as it makes the flecks pop (never really saw pop with P21S, or what I thought was pop, really wasnt!). Really need to try it to see the difference
  17. I would guess the sender has gone mad. Maybe try and get a new sender. Dont know how hard they are to fit, but Alex may be able to lend you one to see if it solves your problem.
  18. Could have slipped on in my package to try UPS said I should get it on Monday BTW Its on their website as saying US only too, so guess they dont work with UK or JDMs
  19. DJSickboy missed the a marker as well I think
  20. Is that definate? Shame as that was looking like a great option for me! Dont know if it was added to the site recently but it now says
  21. Looks like an excellent match mate, good work
