  1. I would get that off quick smart. Broken joints will let air in around the side of the filter and will probably confuse the MAF. Not to mention that a rusting filter could suck rust into the engine. Also metal gause filters arent known for their great filtering properties. I'd get a new cone filter or put the OEM air box back on!
  2. For a run on the dyno? What mods do you have? Be interesting to see if you get the same results as me
  3. You'd be supprised However I have a fully functional computer, so I do have more than that, but that does support add ons for proper sensors (WB O2 etc). The thing that would put me off that is the list of useful OBDII commands the Zed supports is very limited and most of the them you get on the normal dash guages! The list they have on that site is not the list supported by our cars
  4. Thats what I have. Excellent reception and quick lock time. I had a SIRFII for ages and always thought it was the carpc messing around with me not always getting a lock or it being very slow. Swapped it out for the BU353 and it was like night and day!
  5. Yes its a common problem. I took mine off to get it recoloured and I read in the how to guide that you have to be careful not to rotate it too much and make sure its in its original posiiton when fitting the wheel! Didnt know what it upset, just it upset something! Does this mean you now have a spare wheel?
  6. I wouldnt put it past them tbh. But thats the insurer, not the broker doing that.
  7. Mine was a bit dodgy with SIRFII so upgrated to a SIRFIII and my god its so much quicker to get a lock and gets so many more satellites. Even gets reception of about 5 sats in my garage!
  8. Yup, as per PM, I got mine off ebay. Just search for EML327 and it should get you the same one. Its just a USB one, so you may need to download some trial software to reset the light.
  9. If you have a child in the car you will have to disable the dash airbag too. Silimar process, though I havent heard of anyone doing it in the UK. In the US you can buy/request a switch to do it, but in the UK its not an option. I think the reisitor trick works with the dash though. Defiantely works for the seat
  10. Yeah they do! I was jesting with them about it, but silver is more popular in the Evo circles than Zeds! There was a yellow one later on and a red one, and even a black one
  11. Ho, any chance you can send the money to me via direct bank transfer (i.e. internet backing)? I'm happy to put up the money for you, but dont want to have to trash into town to pay in a cheque. If not I guess I can take a cheque, I'll trust ya, you just might not get the pedal until the final cheque clears
  12. Nice one bud, what PSU and GPS did you get? Hope the GPS has a SIRFIII chip If you want any hints on where to install and run wires, give me a shout, theres a nice grommit through from the battery to the passenger footwell, and the GPS reciever fits nicely hidden under the rear strut bar cover if you place it right
  13. What are you trying to achieve? The passenger air bag can be disabled with a resistor in the socket that attaches to the airbag. You disconnect the battery, disconnect the air bag and jam in the resistor. I think its a 2.2ohm jobbie. Search on here or my350z should give the exact details. If you are after a new look for your seats then I have a pair of leather OEM ones up for grabs in about a month. Will need retrimming, but could be a good move
  14. We're either Stig like drivers or dont give our cars enough abuse
  15. Sure Adam said the clutch can last easily upto 50k as long as its not abused. Mine is on 64k now and still on the original clutch as far as I'm aware. Got it at 27k and didnt have anything to say the clutch had been done. Does depend a lot on the kind of driving you are around though, mine is a lot of motorway miles so would expect it to last a lot longer than a town driver.
  16. Good work my man. Dodo is excellent at making the flecks "pop"
  17. Think it must be my crap monitor at work, I still cant see it lol
