  1. Whats ~170 mile between friends Looks like a nice drive anyway.
  2. Trimming, in Alcantara Although new seats and tyres are going to have me skint. Was hoping to have some of the trimming done at the same time, but not enough wedge at the moment to cover it. Might have some done by Wales
  3. Just wait until you start on the Dodo Juice and move onto the Swissvax
  4. If you don't sign up and come you will miss out on a great weekend. Yup get it done. I missed the Wales meet just after getting my car, and had to wait 6 months for the next, and really regret it. Its a great day (or two) out, really worth the effort
  5. Yeah I quite like the G. Nice to have back seats, however small. My old boss was going to get one as he wanted a Zed but had kids. As with the others, I'd ditch the graphics, but the wheels look good
  6. People always ask me why I keep my car on the drive and not in our single garage. And its exactly for the reason you have discovered. I managed to do it in my missus Corsa, but was still £75 to fix Vowed never to do it to the Zed!
  7. Well said martin. Hopefully one day.. My sentiments exactly.
  8. What do you mean slippery slope? I could already run a shop out of my garage with all the stuff I've got. I've always been a car cleaning nut and buy far too much of the stuff as it is! LOL, fair enough, never heard you talking about detailling before. Obviously a closet detailler
  9. Yeah looking forward to seeing the finished result. If you want really fancy paddles, you could see if EPRacing can make you a set. Might take a while and cost a bit, but they will look awesome in carbon fibre!
  10. Very nice chap. I have the same one but in the pro range (same but with BB runners). They are very useful, I'm now looking for more tools to fill mine with now though A little hint for anyone that knows people that works in Halfords. When these thing get damaged, they sell them off to staff for next to nothing. Mine has a dent in it and for what was a £140 chest, I got it for £30 and only that high because I wasnt staff!
  11. +1 - my Zed drinks no more than my old Leon FR (1.8T). I count myself lucky I dont have an Evo, drinks more and has a tank half the size! You just need to recalibrate how you drive. No more will you have to rag the nutts off it to get somewhere, its quite happy to be driven at low revs when you are doing your day to day mundane driving. Should save enough for the fun bits. Also keeping momentum is key, stop start driving is what will kill MPG in the Zed. Keep it moving and carry the momentum and you'll be supprised
  12. How very weird. I would expect the site is quite busy now, but it doesnt seem any slower than any other time now. Heres a new idea. Your internet connection may be very busy as lots of local users log on. If you are feeling geeky, do a speed test now and when its quicker and repeat a few times and see what the response is like. It might be local contention to the internet. http://www.speedtest.net/
  13. Zboys, who I think started life as Jay's (Zedrush) brothers car
  14. I guess that would make sense to keep a roadster in their portfolio until the 370z roadster comes along.
  15. Nice one Nix Welcome to the slippy slope of detailing. You deny you are into it now, but I will remind you of this thread when you are asking which clay, polish, wax etc to use
  16. What time are you planning on meeting up chaps? Amanda has expressed an interest so might get a day pass, but needs to be the right time If we can meet somewhere just outside at or after 9am then I think I can twist her arm I put my name down anyway, would be good to meet up and all go in at once as there are a lot of cars!
  17. You did seem to drop off. I was reeling in Brideys Beauty for a bit but the little blighter has gotten away now. Should be finished in a couple of days
  18. Behave Its just to get more interest out of those that might have forgotten us
  19. Which means he'll only get a "bit" of interest rather than a lot. But saying that, if hes not in a rush, good on him. If everyone upped their prices, our residuals would be a darn sight better
  20. If it wasnt so far away, then I'd have been up for it. Some lovely metal in that list
  21. Tardis or AG Tar and Bug remover
  22. Awesome Wait long enough and they correct themselves
  23. JoeDr3dd : Deleted your double post of the topic. I think you have your answer now
