Nice comparison. I think the Zed held its own very well. Two major things I think they pass off or compeltely ignore. Firstly, they compare the Zed to the Cayman S because the S offers the same level of BHP. But it costs far more. The normal Cayman is the car you would be looking at in that price point. So how does it compare to a boggo standard one? Also, it might be cheap to buy a second hand Cayman, but whats the servicing and running costs like? Probably a hell of a lot more than a Zed. Still, I must agree that the handling of the Cayman is excellent, if a little lifeless. I drove one around Thruxton and was immediately at home, lots of feedback, but it was just too clinical, never wanting to play like the Zed does.
