Very easy. Remove old number plate (pull!), unscrew the mount, remove old screw mounts if you want, appy stickies to numberplate (after cleaning off old ones) and stick it on! Recommend using a hairdrier to warm the pads when you apply them to the bumper for best stick. Also might be an idea to get the thicker stickies than standard when doing it. Use your discretion as to how thick they need to be

He has a manual throttle cable? Interesting... More details would be great if you have them. Manual throttle requires a full replacement aftermarket ECU. The stock ECU wouldnt know what to do with it!

Thats good news for you Jerry, should mean you can use your current harnesses I've seen a Sparco harness bar being used before in the States. But two things confuse me. Firstly looking at UK suppliers of Sparco they dont seem to stock them, so wonder if they are legal on UK roads. Secondly they seem to fit to the seat belt guide mounts on the B-pillar, and also are meant to have supports to the floor. But in the pics of the US cars they seem to have no supports. I thought this might be a bit dangerous. Can you confirm how they mount Adam? I did see a more impressive K-bar mount on the US forums which looked a lot better going to the fixing points in the rear as well as the belt guide mounts.

Whats wrong in my mind is that there were far more blatent breaches of the rules which were down right dangerous that werent even looked at. People caused crashes and nothing came of it. I agree that I am pro Hamilton, but only because the FIA are hell bent on stopping him from winning another championship. I just hope they dont start to pick on Button now he finally has a good car.

I would expect the main thing it aids in is warrenty claims. It deters people from fitting bits that could potentially cause the engine harm (mainly the actual muppet fitting it ) in an attempt to get more power. This means that hopefully the car is more relaible and less prone to break. Also it allows a simpler ECU to be used. If you look at the aftermarket ones, with things like better resolution on the mapping, they would cost Nissan more to produce. By keeping it locked down to exactly what they want it to do, they can keep things a lot simpler.

Its all a crock of sh*te! They are bending the rules to suit, so they can strip Hamilton of points. If they are not, then why havent they penilised the other driver who caused crashes (dangerous driving) but are for this silly mix up. Nope not seen it. I did compare some DM Xtreme in Halfrauds with my SS and there wasnt much difference to what I could see and feel. But I guess those in the know know better than me Still cost me less than half what DM would have cost and it did the job, and I still run the stock BOSE speakers so you can tell I'm not into my car audio that much One thing that made a big difference to mine was adding closed cell foam (aka camp mat) all over the SS. Helps stop that nasty airbourne higher frequency noise that the SS cant stop. Whichever you chose, remember to get a roller and a good knife. Having a good bond between the material and the car is key

For me SS worked a treat and cost way less than DM Xtreme. You can do the LED rear lights in all of 10 minutes and Popcharger in no more than 45mins Admittedly, popcharger and exhaust take a bit longer and can be more difficult, so will let you off with them

I have Damplifier in my car (and yes its the same as Dynamat Extreme, just loads cheaper). I havent done the doors though. Thats a project for this summer. As per my usual answers, if you search on www.my350z.com there are loads of pics of installs in there. Some cover it entirely, some only small bits. One of the best bits I did to mine (with reducing tyre noise as the aim) was to sound deaden the huge expanse behind the sub. Takes quite a bit of dismantling of interior plastic, but well worth it
