  1. Joe's going to have them in and out of the warehouse so quick you wont have a chance. Delivered to them today, and to me tomorrow, straight out for delivery Or at least he better
  2. So no one about with knowledge of this stuff? I find it very hard to believe, comeon you useless lot! Otherwise I will have to ask the scroat in Maplins who probably doesnt know what a resistor is
  3. I dont have that much money! You'll see as soon as they are fitted, dont worry. ETA tomorrow or Thursday. I can only fit them once I have the right resistor as I dont want to drive it with no air bags!
  4. At the mo running ds2500 pads on oem discs and noticed the difference then, how much the discs set you back bud ? TBH unless you are tracking it, then these discs wont give you any advantage over stock as you already have good pads. However, when your current discs wear out, these would be a nice upgrade
  5. Mine is number 830 or there abouts, shes an old dear
  6. Good guess by me then! I tidied your quotes up for you, got very confused!!
  7. What about these? http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=2179 You can get 2.2ohm. Anyone know what wattage resistor you need? I've only ever heard you need 2.2ohm, but not how many watts it needs to be rated at. Maplin do the 2.2ohm in 3w, 7w and 10w but only have stock in the 10w. EDIT: Acutally Basingstoke are showing as having the 3w and the 10w. Any ideas what I need?
  8. Might be handy as an option. Havent heard of that before, everywhere quotes a 2 or 2.2ohm resistor is required to bridge. I guess your one is sufficient to change it. TBH I'm not to hot on my electronics, so not sure what guage wire would change the ohms correctly
  9. Guys, Looking for suggestions as to where to get a 2.0 or 2.2ohm resistor from in the general vacinity of Slough (work) or Basingstoke (home). I tried to search Maplin online but couldnt find anything. Do they sell single resistors in store? My seats have come a couple of weeks sooner than I was anticipating, so need this asap hence no getting them online.
  10. Yeah much better in the summer when the weather is warmer and lighter til later. Will get my drift RC car out when we get lighter evenings
  11. But I think he still won as the other guy was given a penalty for 4 seconds +1That is some excellent driving and from a rookie?? a rookie? jason plato has been driving for years I read that wrong, it was the guy in the BMW who was the rookie! My mistake You dont know who Jason Plato is? Rookie was doing well by the looks of it, but if its still the same format as last time I watched, in some races they reverse the field, so its likely he started at the front as he wasnt that good and Plato made his way through the field. Could be wrong though as I havent seen the race.
  12. Well I have stickied it, that should get it more views. Cant do more than that really If I had access to the forum DB I could query it and mass spam all people in the vacinity, but alas I dont Anyway, last time we were in the nice minority, its good not being common We just need to park together
  13. Very nice Adam, your portfolio must be coming along nicely now. I remember the young upstart coming on these boards begging for business, not any more eh, bet you're run off your feet? So when you gonna get a Zed then? Or will it be straight to a Lambo?
  14. Stops the press cars hitting the market cheap. Keeps the prices up, but it is madness
  15. I'm no technician, but I have EBC grooved and drilled discs and they are no different to my ex-OEM ones (Brembo calliper). I also upgraded to Ferrodo pads and they are much much better than OEM. TBH, I would ask the Ex Motorsport mechanic why they are not as good, he probably knows more than us
  16. But I think he still won as the other guy was given a penalty for 4 seconds
  17. Correct. The LED lights also known as the 2006+ lights...... There's a clue and it's not too cryptic! You sarcy bastwerd!
  18. Yeah, but a legal plate of ON03 SOZ isn't going to look that good I saw it on his car and it actually is how it is on the website...... Which is illegally spaced, as Martin pointed out, and the legally spaced one would look a bit pants
  19. Agree with Martin, nice to see a white drop top, looks lovely in your profile pic

    Marked Nismos

Sorry guys, I assumed that the Nismos were like my Rotas with a powercoat centre and only a polished lip, didnt realise the whole lot was machined. In that case they probably will be very expensive to get done again. It is a problem with machined / diamond cut wheels and although it shouldnt happen, it does. Only way to avoid it, like S1 HNK says is unfortuantely to have them powdercoated
  21. Hopefully this will propagate across the country

    Refurbish wheels

Umm sorry to disappoint but no....it does seem to be the name of choice for the erm how to I put this.......adult industry Whatever you do dont google Jenna Haze Is this enough reason to suspend Sarnie? Go on, let me do it

    Marked Nismos

I would agree with that, but for the fact that mine were starting to go in September before the roads were salted. Obviously using them through the winter has not helped one jot. That will be the main problem. Once it starts, you cant stop it. The seal is broken, moisture can get in and they will slowly corrode. My Rotas are doing it now where I managed to kurb them dodging crappy drivers in Slough Next time I am going to get them fully powder coated with no polished lip as the slightest nick in the laquer and its game over Also £200 for one wheel is a rip off! I paid £350 for all 4 of my Rotas to be refurbed not so long ago and thats down south where everything is more expensive! My wheels were completely stripped, powder coated and rims machined and finally all laquered. This was done by a very reputable company and they did an amazing job.
