  1. This one! I know the meet point isnt final, i was just suggesting that we could all meet somewhwere part way, but make our own (or small groups) way there in a direct route! And it means Jenna gets to do the A339 from Alton to Basingstoke I think for the convoy to work (sorry butting in, I know I'm not part of it) you will need to have a rough route and then set services on the route to meet. That way people can make their own way to the services (or mini convoys) and pick up the main convoy. That way you can work out what time people need to be at each stop
  2. I would ask on the SEAT forums for this specific question. From what I remember, most of the "cool" tools like VAG Com used the CAN BUS rather than ODB to interact with the car. So I dont think it will work, but then again, cant see there being any harm in trying Usual disclaimer applies, dont cry to me if it fries the ECU
  3. You definately are! Our local chippy is owned by what I can only describe as a typical English thug and staffed by Chinese people. They are all lovely, but do conform to every stereotype out there! Highly amusing
  4. Maybe it should be about now that you all head over to http://www.engrish.com/ Found this outside Bullets house, think hes a bit over protective of his Zed .... (j/k buddy!)
  5. True however MOT checks are standardised and MOT testers are checked regularly. They *should* all test to the same standard. +1 - price shouldnt change what they do at all. They have to do a certain number of checks for you to pass.
  6. Time to lock the thread? This is getting wayyy to metrosexual, just how Sarnie likes it

    Filthy...

Looking good there Cara, top job. Can come and teach Amanda how to wash the car now?
  8. No I just saw Watchdog on them before I bought Amandas. Paranoid not to get fake ones! Dave: Leave em on for 20mins and see if they turn off. I think they beep when they turn off too - seem to remember Amanda getting cross with them doing mates hair and them turning off
  9. I'm sure Amanda will have hers on hand if you all manage to break yours BTW, they are meant to turn off themselves to stop the house burning down! If yours dont then they must be cheap knock off ones Oh and you dont need to let them cool down either Louis, they have a heat resistant pouch
  10. Ho just send Limiter the money and be done with it And all this talk of fatties cracks me up. You guys should try and fit in my new Recaros. Those of you who know Amanda will cry when you hear they are a snug fit on her Dont half hold you in place though
  11. +1 - the power gain would be nice so long as you can reliably get it
  12. Nice write up bud. I got my invite through to go see it at WLMG@Mill Hill, but its fookin miles away from me. I assume this is where you saw it? I really hope Nissan get it back down to their HQ in time for the Sunday Service, that would be awesome as there would be a very high number of potential buyers there
  13. Nice one dude, you are one lucky SOB if you get them
  14. James, had a quick look through my photobucket, and although they are not Nismo or 19" or particularly good photos, heres a few of mine with the EBC turbo grooved: Hope that helps. Personally I prefer the looks of the Ultimax, look more like the higher performance DBA type discs
  15. Also try a hunt around for detaillers start up kits. You tend to get smaller bottles of the essentials. Basically, for starters I would get comfortable with a good wash, polish and wax. Build up from there. Get the good basic 2BM method nailed with grit guard and hand applying polish and wax. AG SRP is a good start as the fillers will help with the swirl marks. Then you can move onto different products. IMO Dodo products seem to be expensive for the amount you get, so while I sing the praises of the waxes, I would look into getting PB or Chemical Guys shampoos as you get more for your money. Leave claying until you are happy with the other basic procedures (but if you are already happy with them go for BitHambler (sp?)). Second wash mitt for wheels is a good idea too, although you can wait until your first one gets knackered and demote it, thats what I did
  16. Do it Ho, they are an excellent deal +1 If thy had been black I would have bought them already Ian, they'd look sweet in your car too. The only thing that is a little odd (that Adrian pointed out) is that the thigh bolsters seem to be quite low. Not sure if its the way the seat pad is or if they are a low bolster model. Fine for normal driving, but those wanting to hoon, may want higher bolsters.
  17. Do it Ho, they are an excellent deal
  18. Nice one mate, seems they are doing the right things and hopefully should be proven to be nothing serious
  19. Would have thought a carbon bonnet would be a bolt on.. bit crap if you have to take it to be laquered. Varis use very robust gelcoat on their carbon, but I have heard it before that its worth getting it laquered too. Just adds another layer of protection from stone chips
  20. I give up - http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.p ... e%20finger
  21. Nice one dude, hope you can still hear us! Not going near your car at Wales, wont be able to hear my Nismo
  22. srobrien: I edited your post as those things are very offensive and dont want users googling it (even with your warning). Can we get this thread back on track as its going somewhere we dont want it to go.
