Thats shocking! My bumper was assesed 2 days later (they wanted it the next day but I couldnt take it over), and had it in a week later, being held up on waiting for the other party to admit liability. It was then away for a day and a half. I could have even picked it up sooner but with the snow I didnt want to venture out in the Zed! I'd be getting a complaint in against that company

Yup, very dependant on where you stop and how often. Also the main problem is if anyone is late. Most convoys I have been in plan in quite a lot of contingency for this, say stopping for 20-30mins at each stop to collect everyone. TBH you can normally make better progress than googlemaps suggests, so I find it best to base the time on that (to account for any unexpected hold ups), add in say 15-30mins for each stop and that should get you to Chester in time Think those coming from the South coast will be gettin up very early!

You wont ever see big improvements without big money! NA tuning doesnt realise an aweful lot of power. It will give you noticably more mid range punt, but that will be about it. Even with a remap you wont realise much more power. Will look good though Yeah i am aware of that but i think these mods are a case of making the car breath better and get better through put. You asked if you would see big improvements, I was point out that you wont. The ECU will only allow the engine to breath a certain amount more. The mix will lean out as you give it more air until it reaches a max value then it wont breath any more. So you will get the benefit of a bit more throughput, but not a lot. Most gains are had from evening up the airflow to the front cylinders and a bit of extra breathing

My car is a JDM but the VIN starts Z33 Not HZ like the one at the top? Hmm interesting....

Blasingsmoke to Chester took me 3.5hrs the first time around. Took about the same from B'stoke to Bala last time too. I reckon you can do Jct8 M40 to Chester in about 2hrs 30 if you use the M6 toll and dont hang around. Plan on 3hrs though.

Yup, it should flag up. Instead they are meant to do the brake test on the road with a datalogger/g-metre I think. They manually measure that the brakes pull enough force. Zed should pass it a piece of p*ss! Just dont let them do it next time mate, it can knacker it!

Are you expecting it to be a UK car? UK car VINS start Z33XXXXX I think. Can someone confirm? I'm sure there is a definate difference between UK and import VIN numbers at the start.

Thats insane! I had a new rear bumper fitted to mine in a day and a half Did they have the bumper in stock? My place ordered mine when it was assesed so that it was all good to go once they got it in.

Dont you worry about that. If you fancy a go with Zeddies, then put a tentative (Track) down. Remember (Track-Confirmed) means you are definately doing it. We need to see who is up for it if the numbers are right, and we can make numbers up with other trusted cars

There is a measurement, but its based on the width of the tyre. They will have templates that they offer up to the tyre and tells them if they can plug it or not. Sounds like you might be ok

You'll have been BCC'd on it to make sure you dont know who else it went to. And Outlook will hide half the crap you want to see I think you will struggle to get the raw email from Outlook, but sounds like you may have done it. Gmail does a much better job of showing you everything

I would expect at the fly. It wont do more than any other remap/piggy back can with an NA car. Just unleashes what little bit extra you get from breathing mods. I bet it makes the curve much nicer too An excellent mod for £200 the sod

Glad someone knows what they are talking about unlike me Perhaps it was coincidence that it happened on ones that werent mounted well for Phil or I remembered incorrectly
