  1. What difference does it show between a P2 and P3 Jerry? The ones I have from Nissan only show diff oil, but thats not for our cars. Still not found anyone who can explain the difference in price between a P2 and P3 I might show Tom the schedule and see if he can spot it. I cant see him charging more for one than the other
  2. Thats why I'm waiting to see the outcome. The main thing to remember with it is that the headline increases will be minimal. If you look at Pingus plot the headline gains arent too much, but the extra torque low down the rev range is very good. Much better bang for buck than just sticking on mods and not having it done!
  3. Pingu got his done with an aftermarket ECU, but gains should be similar. He has his dyno graph about half way down this page - viewtopic.php?f=25&t=17420&start=45 Reckon you should see about 20BHP and 30lb-ft torque. But its the shape of the curve that makes all the difference, much more lower down
  4. Have to keep an eye out on the write up and see if you get a mention. As they say, they love the car, so hopefully you (and the club) will get one
  5. Yup, and the more Tom & Co play with Zeds, the better off we'll all be as they build their expertise with the car. Thier prices will also be substantially cheaper than quoted up top of the thread! Indeed. Not aruging that, infact I normally argue with those that say its expensive. But theres no point paying £320 when you can get it done for £250 as was the case with my last P3
  6. I had the same issue with West Way Basingstoke WRT a young lad selling it and the Gaffer sitting out back. I politely told them if they want to sell the car I want to speak to the decision maker and he happily came out to talk. I would have walked if he didnt.
  7. Sorry to hear this mate. Only thing you should consider as Martin said, is that the repair will have been priced up using RRP prices and not what you could get the bits for. I am sure between the traders on here you could get it sorted for the £7k, but obviosly you'd need the parts list to verify and also tht there is no other major damage.
  8. I got some cheaper stuff off eBay which was advertised as S-alcantara and while it appeared faily decent it has now faded in the sun. I think 3FIDDYZ was quoted about a grand to have most of the interior re-trimmed. I'm thinking of doing this or getting it flocked, which gives a similar appearance but is cheaper
  9. That appears to be fairly pricey to me. Dont know if servicing is ususally expensive in your area or not, but I've certainly seen cheaper. Ask them what the difference between a P2 and a P3 is too as for our cars there isnt one but they always charge more
  10. You could come to our North Wales drive out (aka Wales Run) and we can fix it there 1 to 2 day drive out on May 16th/17th. Looks like we have 60+ Zeds going this time. Name list thread here - viewtopic.php?f=19&t=17356&hilit=+Wales and discussion thread here - viewtopic.php?f=19&t=17357
  11. Pretty close to me, i am in Elstree and travel over to Enfield now and then to go out. If i see you i will say hello Go help the woman out man, give you a chance to sit in a real car again
  12. We treat women with nothing but respect around here - Nixy and Bronzee see so that haha, too right! Think Cara would probably give you a left hook as well! (i love that smilie) Knew I would forget one of you in the process, better go hide to avoid a beating
  13. Lakeside is just off the M25 , so what would people prefer, individaul or teams (2-3 ppl) ?, this dependent on it being held at lakeside ? Yeah, but how far round from the M4 and M3 It basically more than doubles my trip from 35mins to nearly 1.5hrs! I'm up for it either way I reckon, just you will definately get more interest if people dont have to go all the way around the M25 to get there
  14. Sounds simlar to mine, except I have no NOS. Not sure mine went as high AFR as yours at WOT. The thing that put me of an AFC was that it only solves the AFR and does not offer the other good stuff that you can do with a remap which the stuff from RS Tuning should be able to do to get that extra power.
  15. Part of basic tuning to get the most HP is to correct the AFR, so I am sure it will be corrected. I too am running a little on the lean side so I am told, but nothing outside of acceptable tollerances. Not sure what the target AFR should be on an N/A Zed, maybe Alex/Adam could comment on that.
  16. As BulletMagnet said, I think CS is around that area. Give him a shout, hes a sound guy and should know a good bodyshop. Hope you get it sorted soon and get some good fun driving out of her in the near future

  18. Cool - I'll await the results of your test cars. Being based down South I dont think it would be wise to have it done until a few members have it up and running and are happy with it as it will be a 6hrs of driving round trip to get up to you and back. Definately interest when I see some results though
  19. Where abouts are you based Caroline? I'm sure a local memeber could come and have a look. This kind of stuff is much easier when you are sitting in front of the problem and not trying to diagnose over the net
  20. They all have a projector for the dipped beam. Older models have a full beam bulb below it which you should be able to see down by the sidelight bulb. No bulb there and its a 2006 headlight. From the distance in the pic you posted, they look like the pre-2006 lights, ie not Bi-xenon, as the projector lense is small like on the earlier models. On the Bi-xenon the projector is bigger. Could be wrong at that distance though, but now you know what to look for Cant really help with the other questions. Sounds to me like the owner has fitted some 2006+ bits (LED rear lights) to a pre-MY2006 car. I think you could still get MY03-05 model on an 06 plate though
  21. Thats very poor from Mill Hill, they should know better than that being one of the special performance centres. Although they may be getting a lot of interest to test drive these cars now (GTR too) where people have no intention to buy. Do as Mike says, let them find you one, get it in, test drive it and walk away! I test drove one at a Nissan dealer with no intention to buy, they were just local and I wanted to see what the car was like. Dont go buying one with no test drive prior as you wont know if you like it or not. I did the same with my Leon too. Test drove one at Newbury, but a dealership up north were selling them off cheap, so when Newbury didnt price match, I drove 200miles to get it £2.5k cheaper! (new car - like for like with Newbury)
