It was a good meet. I didn't count but lots of people there (I would guess about 45 including friends & family). All 4 clubs represented. Z club,300zx,co.uk, 300zx-club.com, 350Z-uk.com. Roll on some more meets. It was a bit cold and a bit wet but we all enjoyed it plus the licensee has asked us back so we must have been good!

Still have about 25 names on the list. Some have cancelled but others have filled in. Theres plenty of room for usd inside so no probs re weather. I’ve been down to the White post Inn and spoken with the assistant manager. They will try to cone off part of the car park for us but not promising this as it is a busy day for them. A part of the dining room will be set aside for us which seats up to 60 people so we should have a nice meeting area. A full menu is available including Sunday lunch. Pricing is 2 for 1 on main course only. Eat at what time you like. Obviously it’s easier for them if groups of people order together rather that a large group sit down at once. The welcome seems pleasant already. I hope to see you all there.

sorry for the delay on this. Venue is The White Post Inn, A614 roundabout, Farnsfield NG22 8HN (car park at the rear off the Farnsfield Road) 12nn onwards. (at present they are offering 2 main courses for the price of one)

The first man looks very quizzically at the dog and asks why the dog is allowed on the plane ? The second man explains that he is a Drug Enforcement Agency officer and the dog is a 'Sniffer dog'. 'His name is Smithy and he's the best there is. I'll show you once we get airborne, when I put him to work.' The plane takes off, and once it has levelled out, the agent says: Watch this.' He tells Smithy to 'search'. Smithy jumps down, walks along the aisle, and finally sits very purposefully next to a woman for several seconds. Smithy then returns to his seat and puts one paw on the agent's arm. The agent says, 'Good boy', and he turns to the man and says: 'That woman is in possession of marijuana, so I'm making a note of her seat number and the authorities will apprehend her when we land.' 'Say, that's pretty neat,' replies the first man. Once again, the agent sends Smithy to search the aisles. The Lab sniffs about, sits down beside a man for a few seconds, returns to his seat and this time, he places TWO paws on the agent's arm. The agent says, 'That man is carrying cocaine, so again, I'm making note of his seat number for the police.' 'I like it!' says his seat mate. The agent then tells Smithy to 'search' again. Smithy walks up and down the aisles for a little while, sits down for a moment and then comes racing back to the agent, jumps into the middle seat and proceeds to sh*t all over the place. The first man is really amazed out by this behaviour and can't figure out how or why a well-trained dog would behave like this, so he asks the agent 'What's going on?' The agent nervously replies, 'He just found a bomb !'

the important thing there Martin was that so many people attended. Not to look but to offer help. There wasn't much for many to do but their actual presence on the roadside was enough to cause motorists to slow down on a notoriously fast stretch of road.

I used to be a traffic cop. In 1976 I stopped for a girl who had run out of petrol and gave her a lift to a garage then reurned her to her car, got it going and off she went. The same night there was a knock at my door and she stood there accompanied by my best mates wife who she worked with. She had brought me a cake which she'd baked herself. I hadn't told her my name but they'd talked and put 2 & 2 together. To cut a long story short we were married 2 years later. She died suddenly 3 yrs ago.

my 350z battery has gone flat due to the vehicle not being used in the inclement weather and all the electrical goodies still functioning. Can i charge it up on the car using a conventional battery charger (which i have) or must i use a digital battery charger (which I don't have). Do I need to disconnect the battery and if so will anything happen on the electrical side ie ecu stopping or radio needs resetting. (I don't have the radio code). thanks in advance.

NG14 6HP on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 11-12-13 September 2009. Some of you will be aware that 2009 marks 40 years of the introduction to the UK of the Datsun 240Z and also 20 years of the Z32 300ZX so we hope to make this years event a little more special. To start the ball rolling, Nissan UK are giving their support and I have a number of other surprises in the pipeline which will be divulged later in the year. For those of you who are new to Sherbrooke there are 22 acres of grassland plus a five acre wood... There is one clean but basic toilet block with loos, wash basins and showers. There is a modern barn and social centre with outside patio area and picnic benches. Oil drum BBQ’s are freely available. Once again we will have a licensed bar and excellent catering on site. All main meals plus snacks will be available at reasonable cost between 8am and 10pm. We will hold an inter club sports competition with some “easyâ€
