have you got a pop factory near you? When I had the farm and plenty of storage I used to clear out our local pop factory every week. As I took the lot I got them for 50p each but their normal price had been £2.50. I could sell them all the time for £5 each. (Incidentally we had a guy that came regularly in a Reliant Robin van and bought 5 at a time. With one on the front seat he couldn't see to the left so he had to plan his route home making all left turns as he daren't crossd the traffic)!

There is a band as usual, Time Zone who have entertained us for the last two years are returning. The advertised band, who have received some tremendous support from Club Members of all three Z clubs, let us down at almost the last minute.

Just to confirm Lincolnbaggies message. We attended Thoresby Show as The United Z Clubs, 350Z-uk.com, 300ZX-Club.com and Zclub.net. We achieved the Runner Up award for Best Club Stand. (2nd year running) The following members received individual awards: Runner Up Best Nissan/Datsun - Kev 74 (Z club) Runner Up Best Classic Car - MalcolmPaul (Z Club) Runner Up Best Convertible - Mitch (350Z-uk.com) Best Modified Car BG VinZ (Z Club) We had a superb turnout of some 24 cars from all 3 clubs. I think Madmarco travelled the greatest distance all the way from Winchester (185miles?) The strawberries and cream was a lovely touch and made our day. I really thought we'd cracked it this year for the best club stand but we were pipped this time by the Toyota Celica club. My thanks to all who turned up to make it a really great day.

arrangements not set in stone yet but it looks like Madmarco and Madmarky are stopping at mine on Saturday night so we will be heading north from Rainworth on the A614 plus Zulley in the Mondeo (our neighbours are in the Notts RS club so may also tag along with them).. CU on site I think. If travelling from Nottingham a convenient meeting place is Ollerton R/A lots of parking, MacD's petrol etc. In the parking area you suggest there is a pretty good burger van but i don't know if he opens sundays.

A few months ago, my eldest son who is a P.c. tried to detain a man for burglary. The offender was known to be violent and back - up was sent. The whole event was captured on CCTV which in my sons town is particularly good. Close - ups were produced in court of the offender sitting astride my son and trying to gouge out his eyes with his thumbs, subsequent medical treatment led to my sons sight fully recovering. In court the offender got off pleading self defence and produced two witnesses, also violet offenders and drug users who happened to be passing and backed up his story. they of course were not visible at all on any CCTV in the area. No effective cross examination from CPS in court. Two nights ago a decent young man in a town centre bar witnessed a man steal a girls purse. Being a model citizen he telephoned the police on his mobile and followed the offender describing his route as he was not a local. his transmissions ceased and a few minutes later my son found him seriously injured lying in the gutter (amongst other injuries his jaw is broken in 3 places). No CCTV of the assault but there are witnesses and CCTV reveals the I.P. following my sons violent offender out of the bar. Had this offender been convicted of my sons assault then that young man would be ok today as the arsehole would (should) have been locked up. When are we, the general public and our police, going to get effective support from the CPS coupled with effective sentencing by the courts?

quality is good. The one pictured is Jerzees make. My supplier has always used Fruits of The Loom previously but this seems ok. I suppose it depends on stock when I order.

I read about this somewhere else where someone had bought a cheap carbon fibre bonnet described as for track use only and that was exactly what it was. Poor quality, poor fit etc. I can't say if the vendor was the same as you are looking at but forum members have some very good c/f bonnets and you may be advised to reword your question to ask for recomendations.

The bad news is that 'This Burning Age' are not coming. I won't go into details but I have done my best to get them and got an email on 1 june cancelling. I have tried other bands known to Club members but without success due to family commitments or bookings. I have fallen back on 'Time Zone' who have entertained us for the last two years. I hope everyone will be happy with this. I had hoped to ring the changes this year but due to the late cancellation I feel lucky to have got anyone at all at short notice. I am sure we will still have a great time and I look forward to seeing everyone there.
