  1. That car's a duffer I rang them up about 4 months ago, & it all sounded dodgy & crap. It also wasnt GT spec & was one of the cheapest ones.
  2. http://www.leftlanenews.com/2006/08/23/mazda-to-recall-nearly-all-rx-8s/ Should have bought a 350!
  3. If the thread originator is not involved may be we should just think about arranging a group buy of high flow cats directly from Kinetix ourselves. They may give us a greater discount buying several together anyway.
  4. Sold for £93 total.........too much for me
  5. Lookin good mate! My fav colour after Sunset
  6. Hire a speed boat along the Thames for a couple of hours & take a posh picnic basket with you. I did it years ago from near Kingston upon thames. Then maybe down to Richmond for a few drinks !
  7. Found out today Visionbulbs from US: £13.70 + £6.50 p&p= £20.20 (5 interior bulbs) Funky Styling from UK: £6.88 + £1 p&p=£7.88 (2 main interior bulbs) Iv just ordered mine from Funky styling. for diy guide look in gallery at Val's fitting guide, quite good & seems simple.
  8. I have the super bright JDM interior bulbs which is like turning on a dull tube light! I want to replace these with lower wattage ones. 1) what is the type of bulb I need to buy & what lower wattage rating? 2)Is there a xenon type or blue light bulb avaliable rather than the normal yellowy light? (new lexus has lovely blue very subtle interior lights & also Audi) 3)Where from? Thanks, Ricky.
  9. & also seperately please, as I already have a Fujitsubo exhaust.
  10. I know a few members from my previous thread on the subject who may be interested in Kinetix high flow cats. I am anyway!
  11. Theyr not that bad! Please dont kill me evryone
  12. Nice find Mike Just what Iv been looking for, for ages!! Though I hope it is stretchy enough, as it will have difficulty going over my Impul rear wing.
  13. The weight would be one of your bigget drawbacks to these wheels, especially on 20's. But if its purely looks your after they look superb especially with yellow! IMO I would go for 19's, of a lightweight design, which would cost more money but worth it to keep the cars unsprung weight down.
  14. Thanks Val, I will try & give them a ring today
  15. I was in the same position last year with about £30k to spend with the same dilema. So I bought a 2003 BMW 330d se 4 door auto for £15k & a 2004 JDM 350zST for £16.5k, problem solved!

    WILL THEY FIT

Go for it, if it was 6 months down the line I probably would have bid on them. Seems like good value for money due to a couple of little scuffs. But dont get the second hand rubber for £300, better to get all new rubber of your choice IMO.
  17. Could you elaborate.......did it make any difference to performance; sound or driveability?
  18. If you like buying new cars then I do understand how these things must pi%s you off But I am one of those persons who refuses to buy new & pay a premium & take the depreciation hit, an especially bigger one at times like this. I prefer to buy anywhere from 6 months to 3 years old cars (find a bargain) & change every 3 to 5 years. That way I dont lose much money at all. But obviously its not the same as buying a brand new car & the feeling you get of being the first owner. But I do find it a bit stupid of Nissan to do a facelift in 06 & then do an engine change in 07??
  19. Just got a price today from Proven Products who I have used a few times: Magnaflow High Flow Cats (Direct replacement ones, not the cheaper universal ones) made specefically for the 350z £500 for the pair!! It looks like the Kinetix High flow cats imported from the US at a total cost of £250 apprx looks like a better option. Have to get some more info.
  20. Boll*x repost,! Ah well great minds think alike! Especially when choosing the colour of their cars!
  21. You got 27 mins left if you want it! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Signed-Limited-Edition-Strantini-Print-of-Nissan-350Z_W0QQitemZ220016148080QQihZ012QQcategoryZ360QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  22. Got the Zed for myself & have a BMW 330d se 4 door for family/motorways/trips to dodgy areas or in fact anywhere where I cannot park it in a driveway or NCP proper car park. Basically the z gets pampered & doesnt get left on the street ever unless I'm sitting right outside!!
  23. Im not too sure but I think the 3.5 V6 lump in the z is not as light weight as the Porsche one. Dont forget the z engine is also used in the Renault Vel Satis & is not engineered by Porsche as a lightweight sports engine. Just my thoughts.
  24. I was thinking the same thing if enough people are interested, maybe a grp buy for Hi flow cats. I will ring magnaflow tmrw for prices. Not sure about exact prices for Kinetix due to shipping/duty etc. Magnaflow would be easier, quicker & maybe cheaper as in UK? Not sure on bhp but would imagine anywhere from 5 to 8 bhp at least ??
