    crashed!

Sorry to hear mate ps are you on Bridgestones?
  3. No worries chaps, I think I'l just have to bite the bullet & buy some new alloys some day!!
  4. This is a post earlier this year by CDR. Just wondering others thoughts on this, as I missed this discussion earlier. "I kept the original size on the rear (245/45-18) and went for a wider tyre on the front: 245/40-18 The result is that the car is much less prone to understeer in the dry, and the feeling is much more neutral between front and rear. I based my decision to go for the same width front and rear on the fact that this is what many japanese tuners are doing with the Z (Amuse, Mines, Boss, Sunline Auto etc.). Before anybody says different - 245/40-18 from BF Goodrich (which is in fact Michelin) is the same diameter as the original 225/45-18's on an 8" wide rim. This means the stagger between front and rear is unchanged, and their are no problems with ESP. I've tried this setup out on a few tracks and it's very good My friend has also tried the Falkens on track, and complains all the time about the soft sidewalls."
  5. Does anyone know if there are any aftermarket alloy wheels availiable that look identical or pretty similar to the standard alloys you get on a MY04 GT car. i.e the 18" ones (Not Rays or GT4 ones). Its just that I quite like these std alloys & like the 18" ride & 19's may give a harsher ride on lower profile tyres. As well as the fact that mine are in perfect nick & I hate spending money!! The only problem in my mind is that they are they are too skiny for the rear arches. 8 inch width with 245 rubber leaves the arches looking empty & overhanging. What it needs at the back is 9.5 inches on wider rubber. Therefore it would be ideal if I could just replace the back two alloys for 9.5 inch wide ones & keep the fronts the same. Obviously they have to look the same! Anyone seen any identical/very similar alloys out there?
  6. Spotted a Gunmetal going toward Radlett/Elstree today at apprx 18:15, I waved like a juvenile adolescent!!
  7. Emperor Ming I posted some pics of your effort on the BMW forum & most think thats bloody amazing!! Have you considered doing it as a proffession? "The Engine blinging service"!
  8. You know you all like it, & are secret BMW fans!! ps that day I took these photos I could have given mad emperor ming a run for his money with my polishing!
  9. "Quote The Minel: RE040 worst tyres ever - interior plastics get scratched easily - modding moneypit - turned heads when I got it and has the same effect over 2 years on, going to be a classic imo. - potential for "extreme" modding (at least in my opinion), albeit expensive COULDNT AGREE MORE WITH ABOVE!
  10. Definetley interested in Kinetix High Flow Cats, depending on price.
  11. Can I post my BMW 330d pics on here if he doesnt!!
  12. Na Mike, I dont think it should have gone on longer, poor old Ken Shamrock looked like he was gona get killed!! He was really badly battered & Ortiz did'nt even have a scrath on him! But years ago, in his day Ken Shamrock was unbeatable & I suppose so was Randy Couture. My favs at the moment are: Robbie Lawlwer; BJ penn (who beat Matt Hughes!!); Matt Hughes; Rich Franklin; Ken Shamrock; Georges St Pierre & obviously the Gracie brothers. http://www.ufc.com/
  13. Rany Couture beat him on Bravo last week. Cant remember what one I think UFC 60 or 62 or sumit.
  14. Welcome & goodluck with the Z you will no doubt buy!
  15. Better to do a ferrari half day, track day, better value for money & more exhilirating IMO.
  16. Nice pics & hard work Ming!! ps how do you show big pics like yours on photobucket? Mine keep getting reduced to a smaller size when I upload to photobucket & photobox??
  17. Chrome front indicator bulbs.
  18. Are there any other car's wheels that are a straight swop onto a zed. ? i.e same stud pattern, offset etc
  19. That colour is fantastic! & bloody cheap!!!! ps JDMs are usually in better condition with less miles, lived in better climate, come with custom bits, 10bhp more approx & apprx 20% to 25% cheaper. Your UK car warranty would have run out after 3 years anyway. Resale values are reflective of what you paid.
