Sorry to hear about the job losses But if the brand TVR re emerges & is the better for it, in terms of quality & reliability than at least thats one good thing. They were not progressing at all over the last decade, lets hope things may now change.

Sorry chaps have been very busy at work & just bought a flat so no time for forum But managed to sort out problem following afternoon at work. It was indeed a blown fuse. This however means that anyone buying a second hand Z should be wary as by simply pulling out a fuse you can stop the odometer! (though you do also lose your speedo & indicators, but a crook could easily have a switch connected to the fuse to turn on power when you need to indicate). Food for thought... I'm just happy it wasn't anything major. PS thanks chaps for all advice & help

Battery wasnt flat, started up straight away. Should I still disconnect battery?

Got back from a 3 week holiday around India, lovely time, especially Goa! Got in the car today & I have no power to all to all indicators & speedo in dash not working & odometer. Also digital speedo is not increasing in speed either!!! & no beeping sound when you leave lights on after ignition of. Everyhting else seems to be fine including headlights. I havent checked the fuses yet as it is dark, but the speedo cant be disconnected from a fuse. ps mine is an import & has been fine for the last 6 months since purchase, could this have something to do with the conversion from km to mph i.e some wire has come lose?? Please any suggestions

Just to let you know what a sad addict I am: I'm on holiday in Delhi India on a right slow PC checking out what Iv missed over the past week.!! Im going to Goa next week, lets hope they have a PC there! ps lets hope the Mrs doesnt wake up cos she'l definetley kick my sad ass!!

Try ebay, lots of Japanese, Hong Kong, Chinese companies that have European & Asian market versions of everything. I have recently bought JDM rear view cameras & almost bought JDM dvd player from them. Until now all have arrived within 2 weeks & I have paid no duty on anything!! ps try emailing those photos to them I'm sure they will be able to help

Its a base model that has been done up. Its probably a T version or something not a ST (equivilant UK GT) because the seats have been re-trimmed in leather which implies they were originally cloth; no bose sounds; no heated seats switches in centre section. The steering wheel controls are not there but that doesnt really tell you much as Japanese market had this as an option, so there are all combinations of certain buttons on the steering wheel. Its overpriced for a 2003 non ST model IMO. Goodluck.

Yeah I subscribe. It is a back issue that somebody has ordered & you got in post by accident. Back issues are usually reject stock or slightly odd looking as I have ordered back issues which usually arrive in this condition.

Northwick Prk Hosp roundabout Harrow, Middx today at 4:30pm in a UK 05 yellow Nismo. Never seen a yellow one in the metal before & have to say it looked.........................bloody amazinn!! The guy had obviously polished it as long as Emperor Ming & it was gleamin!! I even complimnted him on how good it looked as he pulled up in the next lane & told him to join the owners club. He said he hasnt had time yet, but will, though which one he'l find on the net is another matter Unfortunately I was in my old mans old Merc but had to tell him anyway that my Sunset Z was having a day off at home!

Agree, I would save £10k or more definitely Ok maybe power not the right term, instead more acomplished sports car, especailly handling & speed through corners.

2 months ago Evo mag did a head to head & overall the Audi was a more technologicaly advanced & well put together, better quality car especially the new fancy gearbox. But the Z came on top as the Audi lacked feel & soul & was ultimately a boring, lifeless though hugely efficent car.
