  1. If it aint buggere&d dont mess with it! From my experience you can many times make a non existent alignment issue an actual issue by taking it to incompetent numskulls! I had my old M3 (which had a slight alignment innacuracy) taken to Northway tyres who have these £30k Hunter machines. They tried 3 times (using hammers/blow torches!) & failed to correct saying due to camber issues etc etc its the best they can do. That was after £80! A little while later while changing tyres again took it to a basic alignment centre (non Hunter) cheaper at £55 but they made it even worse!! I recently changed the zeds wheels & tyres for 19"s & have not done the alignment as it was absoloutely perfect to begin with. Even if it was a tiny bit out I wouldnt bother, if your worried about uneven tyre wear on one side its still probably cheaper to change tyres a few months early due to this than blowing £100 on an slight alignment adjustment.
  2. Nice upgrade form the zed mate!!
  3. You could try drilling a few very tiny pin sizeish symetrical holes in the buttons; then apply your new English stickers over the top. Assuming stickers are transparent type it could work if holes positioned carefully around writing. Or drill two tiny holes either side of sticker writing to allow enough light out??
  4. Just wondering why this would affect your choice of HDTV? I mean, if like me you bought one that supports 1080p then you going to be ok no matter what format wins? Also, do you reckon Blueray will be the dominant format considering the fact that its going to be in PS3s? Just wondering..... iirc only certain tv's are fully Blueray compatible, hence choice of hdtv will be affected if you want pure bluray quality
  5. Theres alway the option of 75bhp to 100bhp shot of nitrous on std internals & ECU? Cheaper & easier & maybe less chance of blowing up the engine. (ps saying that I have seen a you tube video of the above happening on a qtr mile run in the US!!!)
  6. LCD go for Samsung or Sony Plasma go for Pioneer or Panasonic (in that order IMO) Anything more than 32" or 36" go for Plasma Best Tv's money can but IMO at the moment has to be Pioneer Plasmas. Most are HD; Pioneer PDP-4270XD £1,300 from Dixons online; with that buy a Sky HD box; with HD gold plated quality lead; & bobs your Uncle! (& gold plated quality scart for dvd player) ps the above model has one HD output for e.g. Sky, if you want to connect another HD output e.g. HD DVD player then go for model PDP 427XD which is a little more money but has 3 HD inputs & is wall mountable & slimmer. Wouldnt bother with HD DVD players at the moment as new technology & too expensive. Blue Ray also too new & format not established yet. Better to wait & see who wins the format battle.
  7. oops, never was any good at languages ps I thought Combien was how much monsueir! Alpina Roadster S £37,850 Z4M Roadster £42,750 But forget those two, at that price Id have Porsche Cayman S £44,080 !!! Not that Il be having any of the above at those prices but after approx 3 to 4 years of depreciation :teeth:
  8. Saying that teh Z4M Roadster does 0 to 60mph in 4.8sec & has 338bhp at 7800 rpm! Better than the alpina all round IMO, but £4k more expensive
  9. Evo mag (I hope quel prix means where from!)
  10. Agree with Val (for once! ), Vortech is better than Stillen. Though saying that if you dont want to go mental with power then the Stillen quite good as Stage 1 kind of supercharger.
  11. Unfortunately yes: 0 to 60mph in 5.1 sec Top speed 169mph 300bhp at 6300rpm 266lb trq/4800rpm 231 bhp per ton 1320kg weight
  12. Nice wheels Kev! I agree with Chesterfield, keep badges. It doesnt mean just because you put M6 wheels you want an M6!! Also I dont think adding the Schnitzer kit would cause any problems in resale, in fact IMO (if fitted proper as I m sure you will) it will make it easier to sell. In fact I wouldnt mind taking it off you!! If the Schnitzer exhaust is £2.5k, I would get a similar (or identical) design one made up from Powerflow & would only cost maybe £300 to £400. After all this, whats the next mod, a remap
  13. I wana do something like this soon!! http://www.dazultra.co.uk/eurotrip/
  14. Try Flintstones (Fred), theyr harder than Bridgestones!
  15. They are legal as long as illumination is visible. Though it can look good, IMO a little dated now & will reduce brake light illumination slightly.
  16. Nice car mate Mine did read 5mph out but now doesnt. This was because I changed alloys & changed rolling radius slightly (due to different alloy & tyres sizes), but worked in my favour by making speedo 3 to 4 mph slower which cancelled out initial extra speed reading.
  17. Also Chris at Funky styling does HKS ones
  18. Nice ones! Sorry not sure but look fab!
  19. Looks like we got a bit of an experienced modder here! Nice car; colour & it seems you have great taste in mods too! Look forwatd to seeing the end result
