For all you track day & karting enthusiasts: Do I need (is it advisable) to buy a helmet if Im going to take my zed to trackdays? What are the diff between motorcycle helmets & race car helmets? Iv tried ebay but most are motorcycle. Do you know any good places for not so exspensive helmets. Thanks

Over the last approx 2 years of owning my zed I have regularly looked on ebay.co.uk for bargains & once in a blue moon may have found something. Apart from that, the same utter crap keeps comming up day after day without fail!!!! I mean who buys this @*!# or even if its not @*!#, how many of these are actualy in demand!! Its really annoying, especially if you look at the really new, varied & interesting items on ebay.com from USA!! Just stick a tiny bit of black tape or permenant marker over "k" in "kmh" so now it reads "mh". A lot easier & cheaper

Yes mate, thats what im talkn about! I think that would look perfect with your carbon fibre front lip. IMO having these two items looking additional & not same colour as bumper is good. It gives it a purposeful, race, DTM look & the kind of underbody ground effects you now see on Ferraris /Lambos etc to increase downforce. ps how much??

No its not! THe lower the profile the psi increases, you need to increase tire pressures to compensate for the lower load carrying capacity.

On 19"s I run 35 or 36 all round. The lower the profile the more psi needed.

Found this interesting, everyone says its the safest track for beginers with lots of run off area/few armcos & if we go on a weekday wont be too busy I hope http://www.pistonheads.com/trackdays/reviews.asp?c=4&id=35

Good move IMO I also feel that I have such a great handling, fun car & I have never taken it on a track.(Iv done track days but not in my own cars). I bought the zed after reading countless articles in Evo Mag about how amazing they think it is on the track. So I also in early spring shall be taking my zed for the first time onto the track to get to learn the limits of the car & understand its handling better. After much reasearch I believe the safest track for a beginner will be Bedford. (I think the West Circuit). ps Jay u up for that mate?

My bro in law (nominated que stander!) had to wait 45min for a crappy hot dogs at £4 each & missed the F1 cars! ps he's an F1 die hard fan Also half the food kiosks were closed, you would never see such a situation in e.g USA's sporting events.

Now I am crap at photoshop & Jay I tried but couldnt find any decent pics of my zed in the correct angle. So thanks to Trev I have used his pic! (Sorry for defacing ur car mate ) Before: After- Im thinking stripes in carbon fibre on a sunset zed! ( I have used the ident/creases already in zed bonnet & tapered the lines going towards the rear of the car also. Lines should taper in a lot thinner at rear also but I am well rubbish & couldnt do it) Jay plz feel free to do a better job, preferably on a sunset zed with carbon fibre stripes

Mike that one on ebay does'nt look good, ur right But I think what Im thinking is a lot more subtle: smaller/thinner lines that taper in at the ends & only on bonnet (just above front z badge), roof & top of boot (just above rear badge again), not on back of car. Jay I think the jury's out for me until I email you some pics for you to photoshop. Ps thanks for your help mate
