  1. Cheers mate I havent lowered mine (std suspension on 19"s), but choices in tyre profile & offsets gives vastly differing results.
  2. As above definetley too low profile on rears: Im running 35 profile on rear & 40 on front:
  3. Great stuff Kev! Nice bit of speed comming up to final penultimate right hander before pit straight. I did Donnington in Nov last year, great track. ps love the flames
  4. I was looking at the ERC fusion as many were on sale on ebay last year but I think as you said illegal due to hot face I think. That is a big hitting club. One of the longest hitters I v used is the Taylor made R7, stiff flex, great club but regular flex is a bit too soft.
  5. That was the club I was gona get instead, but was a bit more, approx £70 to £80 IIRC, excellent club. (is it red & white?) Round of Golf sounds like a plan, I recently joined a nearby Golf club & gym: "Bushey Golf & Country club, par 71. Iv reduced my handicap from approx 24 to 20 roughly over the last 4 months. A bit embaressed to hand in my scorecards yet for official handicap!
  6. Im using this: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=117582#117582 Cant fault it for £50 delivered! Hit it max 300yrds plus & average 270 yrds,(stiff flex) very easy to hit.
  7. All you golfers out there, I just picked up a bargain once again from Online golf http://www.onlinegolf.co.uk Iv used them a few times before. About 6 months ago I picked up a brand new Adams Redline RPM (Draw bias) driver for £49 delivered with headcover! Before that a Nike CPR rescue hybrid wood for £45! This time I just bought a new Benross V6 Trimass 3 wood (adjustable weights), inc headcover & delivery for £39.99!! I mean a quality wood for that price is excellent, normal price is over £100. http://www.onlinegolf.co.uk/golf-clubs/fairway-woods/319scog/1765pog.asp
  8. Fu&in amzin!! Sounds like a flippin F1 car
  9. Ah this explains it: (The clamping co. manger said to me on the phone today, " Yeah it was a fluke we found your vehicle, we were given car registrations, but no addresses because thats breaching data protection. We were in the area & found your vehicle by chance" -- ps I live down a private little road off two more side roads, in a cul de sac, parked right atthe end, out of sight!!) http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=424553&in_page_id=1770 http://www.mailonsunday.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=369838&in_page_id=1770&in_a_source=&ct=5 Exscuse the long links plz
  10. Who says things dont get done quickly in this country;" there's too much beaurecracy; authoroties dont react quick enough to e.g. crimes" etc.... I say no...forget that its Xmas/new years holidays & hardly anything is open e.g garages; post offices (half day wed);local police stns in Herts etc..... I take half day off manage to find a garage open to do my MOT, (considering I got a ticket 2 days before); go down to cop shop closed; try again next day closed for lunch between 1pm & 2pm; come back at 3pm to give producer (all in betweeen my work hours); then pay my £120 fines & then try to get road tax but closed 1pm Wed so next morning 9am get road tax from post office. Ah all sorted......not quite, come back for lunch & cars been clamped at lunchtime by DVLA!!! Now this is 3 days after ticket already issued, in holiday period! So I ring clamping co & tell them I had road tax done this morning & already have fine for £120. (Cant charge twice for same offence) They tell me DVLA instructed them to go to my address to see if they can clamp my car! (in hindsight I should have put car in drive but thought I already have fine & live in the quietest little cul de sac in existence in Herts!) So after a lot of angry words down the phone I give them road tax number & reciept number for post office receipt. They say I cant fax them the details but have to bring them the road tax so they can see it & release clamp today otherwise clamp will come off tmrw. Where are they based, Iver near Slough!! So I take another few hours off work drive down there today show them road tax & they say oh yeah your right we'l definetley come & take the clamp off right away. Well its 10pm & still not off! Rang customer payments dept who said that on file it shows as unlawful clamping & should have been taken off straight away. So they said I should write & formal complaint saying that they unlawfuly clamped car & did not release clamp as should have done today, considering I travelled across London for this reason. So now Ihave my BMW nicely clamped outside my house, unlawfully by DVLA who already have a nice fine from me, but thought they might get a bit more out of me & all this within a few days of original ticket....WOW thats efficency

    Toyo Tyres

With your current setup, the front to rear diff of rolling radius is +4.28% The standard front to rear diff is +2.63% So you'v currently increased front to rear rolling radius diff from stock by 1.65% With 245/40/19 up front & 285/35/19 at back, front to rear rolling radius diff is +0.52% So you'v decresed the front to back rolling radius diff from stock by 2.11% With the new setup (245/40/19) you'l not really change the front to back diff of tyres sizes much, only by 2.11%, whereas currently your diff is 2.63% from stock The only issue which may cause a problem with TCS (But has not with me at all) is when you look at change in front wheel rolling radius on its own as compared to stock front wheel rolling radius: By going from stock 225/45/18 to 245/40/19 you are increasing rolling radius on front only by +2.86% . This I thought may play a part in causing TCS to kick off unnecesarily but I took a risk & it has not at all changed the character of TCS. Thats why I think on paper 235/45/19 could have been better as diff would only have been +1.65% Overall IMO you will be fine on 245/40/19 up front as I have for the last 8 months or so Sorry to take this topic slightly off course !

Let me know your current stock wheel / tyre sizes (I cant remember!) & what size of alloys you want to change to & I l work out different tyre size options

I usually use one of these to work out rolling radiuses/gearing effects etc http://www.alloywheels.com/tyrecalc.asp

After doing a lot of research & calculating rolling radius differences etc it seemed all would be fine in going 245/40 upfront & not 245/35 as usually done with 19"s. And in fact has been i.e. no excessive TCS light comming on & speedo is more accurate now & not approx 4 mph over reading but 1mph (as teste dwith GPS speedo). Advantages of higher 40 profile instead of 35 IMO is better ride comfort especially as heavy engine if right above & better sidewall flex on harder corners. Ideal size up front would have been 235/40/19 & not 245/40/19, but difficult to get in that size & a lot more expensive
