  7. An elderly couple, who were both widowed, had been going out with each other for a long time. Urged on by their friends, they decided it was finally time to get married. Before the wedding, they went out to dinner and had a long conversation regarding how their marriage might work. They discussed finances, living arrangements and so on. Eventually, the old gentleman decided it was time to broach the subject of their physical relationship. 'How do you feel about sex?' he asked, rather tentatively. 'I would like it infrequently' she replied. The old gentleman sat quietly for a few moments, adjusted his glasses, leaned over towards her and whispered - 'Is that one word or two?'
  8. Check carefully that your terminals have not already been changed to the UK type by the importer. Mine had been and I failed to check that before ordering a JDM battery, which I then had to send back and replace with a UK type. To be honest, the JDM-type battery seemed OK to me, and I would have happily used it if I had to. I got it from this company - http://www.tayna.co.uk/Type-156-Varta-A ... P3204.html
  9. Anybody got one of these they want to part with? Don't seem to be any appearing on eBay at the moment.
  10. I don't think you will be able to source them in the UK. I think a few members have bought stuff from CTD over the years without any problems. They're not cheap, though!
  11. How did you get rid of the date/time stamp?
  12. Can you clarify how you do the Date/Time set on a Mac running Snow Leopard? Edit - managed to change the date/time now, but would rather get rid of it altogether - see next post.
  13. Off on holiday in early July, so late July/early August would suit me best.
  14. Many thanks - just tried it as you described and it is now working. The video quality is remarkably good. Thanks.
  15. I can't make head nor tail of this device. It came with a USB adaptor/connector, which i have used to try to charge up the battery. When connected to my MAC, it does not appear as a USB device, and all that happens is that an orange light appears on the device. I can't get red or blue lights and nothing seems to be happening when I insert a micro SDcard. Any suggestions would be welcome - the instructions posted above are baffling!
  16. These look great - I bet they perform well too. Great work Alex.
  17. Well said, that man. The moderators on here do a great job.
  18. +1 I was in Shetland all last week and only just catching up with events here - this has come as a bit of a shocker.

  20. Vik, are you set on getting them done in a day? It's just that I've heard that to do a really good job most specialists use an oven to heat the paint and lacquer coats and that it can take a good few days to do that.
  21. £1.60 per litre for unleaded. God knows how much they charge for the extra octanes We'll be paying that here soon. It's well over £1.20 per litre in many places already.
  22. There is a ferry service between Newcastle, Shetland and Bergen. The trip from Bergen to Oslo would make it worthwhile, I suspect. Edit - sorry, I just checked and this service has been withdrawn.
  23. Looks good Jay. Are you keeping the Fairlady badge as well?
