  1. Yes to both questions, they have been designed specifically to cover the holes, and they come ready fitted with an adhesive backing. Excellent - looking forward to seeing the final product.
  2. Two questions about the rear badges (apologies if they have been answered before) :- 1. Will they cover the holes underneath the existing badge? 2. Do they come complete with self-adhesive backing?
  3. That's great. Any chance of putting up a photo of the black one on the car?

    Pop Charger

That's what I thought, but my impression that there had been a slight improvement in pickup has continued since I fitted the popcharger a few weeks ago. Is it possible that I have one of the early JDM ECUs that do not level things out? Is there any other way of knowing whether you have one of them or not? Anyway, it does sound great now!

  7. Good stuff. I'll keep an eye out for you in future - I often have to be in Livingston as our HQ is there.
  8. Nah - it was just after 9.00am. Welcome to the forum by the way. Nice to see yet another member in Scotland.
  9. Yep - tried that too, and I've tried banging the door and giving the door card a thump - all to no avail so far.
  10. and the window lock button is DEFINITELY not pressed in? Absolutely - first thing I checked to avoid embarrassment. (I've read all the previous posts about this!)
  11. I don't think this is the same issue as experienced by some others in recent threads, and I don't think the standard window reset procedure will help. Quite suddenly, my passenger window has just stopped working altogether. It doesn't drop and return when the door is opened and closed, and when the buttons are pressed I can hear a click, possibly from a relay, but nothing happens - won't go up or down at all. The drivers side window works as normal. Any help or advice in trying to trace the problem and resolve it would be most appreciated.
  12. Not sure, but I think it did have an after market exhaust. I waved as you passed, but no response - don't think you saw me in the queue at the lights.
  13. Got mine from the Chillis on here.
  14. I'll keep that in mind - very good of you to offer. Cheers.
  15. Don't need/want cruise control, so that's hopeful - will look out for suitable replacement.
  16. This thread has prompted me to ask a question that has probably been asked before, so apologies in advance. I have a base model JDM with no steering wheel controls. If I replaced it with a steering wheel that has radio controls, is the wiring in place in all cars to hook up to the head unit?
  17. I was heading into the centre on Starlaw Road - you were heading west. Anybody here?
  18. Oops! I've changed that now! Never had that problem before because the cheapest item before was £15 Gaz Thanks Gaz. Order now placed. Cheers.
  19. That seems like a good deal, but I am tempted by the idea of a second hand one - must investigate further. Thanks everyone for the replies.
  20. Hi all, I'm considering getting a laptop for my wife - she's just about to retire and will no longer have a work laptop. She mainly needs it to surf the web (because I hog the iMac all the time) and read documents sometimes. It has to be wireless and fast, but the main consideration is that it has to be reliable yet affordable. I would like an iBook, but they are far too expensive. We thought about a netbook, but the screen is too small - we want something a bit bigger than that, so long as it is not too heavy. Any suggestions from the experts for something around the £300 - £400 mark would be most welcome.
