  1. +1 My first post was a gross exaggeration purely for effect, as I think most readers would gather. I do wonder about some of the later ones, though.
  2. Do you mean he wasn't in, or did you confront him and he told you to p*** off?
  3. Have a good look on eBay and see if you can get a motor/regulator unit from there. They were going at around £100 when I replaced mine. You should also PM R35Lee and ZManAlex to see if they have any units in stock - that will save you a fortune. There are good guides for stripping down the doors and relacing the motors in the guides section. You'll need a pal to help you hold the glass when you remove the regulator mechanism. Good luck.
  4. Got the Nilfisk Alto C120 yesterday and tried it out today for the first time. Worked even better with the snowfoam than my old JCB washer. So far, so good. Thanks for the tip, Stew.
  5. Try and get their email address and send them a link to this thread.
  6. If you can't find another space, it might be worth attaching a big piece of foam to the door - maybe they'll get the message?
  7. I would want to kill him.

    Yes, they will, and
  9. but, Cette poste est sans valeur sans les photographies!
  10. Kenny. Hope the snow isn't causing you too much trouble today!
  11. As said, try and avoid dealers if you can. The local independents generally take more care because they value the return business.
  12. I put up with a similar import unit for ages. When I eventually replaced it with a double din JVC unit, I couldn't believe the improvement in quality, not just of the radio (and I had a band expander fitted) but all the other functions. Installation of the JVC was pretty straightforward because the loom had been changed to connect to the after-market unit.

  14. I take your point about it being sticky - I tend it wipe most of it off after cleaning but there is often a slight residue. Where do you get Aerospace 303?
  15. I find that a cheap spray cleaner such as Back-to-black does a decent job of cleaning and shining lots of bits in the engine bay, so long as it hasn't got too dirty. I give it a once over regularly and it makes the job much easier.
  16. Not wanting to hijack the thread, but can I just say that I think that those who have taken on the role as moderator have been doing an excellent job in a sometimes challenging situation for the last four years. I for one would like to express my gratitude to them all for running a first-class forum.
  17. Sorry to bump an old thread, Ian, but I was wondering if you ever managed to locate and disable the beeper?
  18. Our lady members might have a different view, so I thought I would correct the statement for you, Lee.
  19. yeah but you clearly have OCD I'm paranoid about keeping the OEM JDM wheels pristine. I shudder to think how I would cope with Nismos!
  20. It says they come in 9J and 10J widths. Jim, its nearly 4 years you have been on this site, get some new rims already!!!!!!! he lives in larbert, they'll get nicked Not far off the truth! I really like the Nismos, but I find it hard to spend that kind of money on wheels that I would be scared to use all year round.
